Hi David, thanks for the video. I was originally dead set on the space grey but after seeing that scratches are so noticeable, I decided to go with the silver with either the ginger sport band or the red sport band for the Apple SE.

Damn I’m still torn I have the space gray right now but I’m getting a series 6 I can’t decide what color to get next. I think an issue I’d have is the gray works better with gold bands while the silver will clash with warmer colors and gold.

If you already have that color combo and like the gold band and space grey watch, then I would just stick with space grey :)

Then I will buy the silver one and then I can use dark gray cover when needed, thank you alot for helping me to decide

I have been stuck in the dilemma between space gray or silver for the watch for multiple weeks now. Not sure why but it has paralyzed me from purchasing it. I was on the space grey side until I won an ebay auction for a silver one. Then I searched a comparison video and came across this video before making my payment. Ended up going with the silver since the scratches are quite noticeable on the grey.

@@affandrabalarama821 a lot of the sport bands have a silver pin which makes it more difficult for that part of the band to match with the darker color. However, you can technically use any color you’d like with it :)

Nice review. You touched on many good points; scratches, matching ur phone, ease of matching bands. I did the same, had grey n went to silver for those reasons. Also, white watch faces go better with silver, imo. This makes it easier to see outside if u have a white face. Brown leather band, sliver watch, white face, looks good with a suit too. I like grey but it’s more limited. However it’s more rugged looking, imo.

Totally agree! The space grey is really nice if you prefer a rugged look, but it’s harder to match bands and I see them a lot more than silver. Also some of my favorite faces for the silver are the navy blue California face, the typography face, and the jellyfish motion face. It feels more classy than the space grey in my opinion :)

Getting a silver 8 series on friday hopefully. The silver looks more like a traditional watch and is more stylish and timeless to me. The black is more of a fitness tracker tech looking device to me. Both are great, but for my personality, style ect i know silver is the better buy. I’m just stuck on what size to get. I have 1,5 more days to decide😩

Congrats on getting a new watch! I’ve been using a silver series 4 since I released this video and it’s been really nice, I think you’ll find silver to compliment a lot of colors too :) If you aren’t sure about size, you can visit the Apple Store and I think they have watches you can try on to see what size work best for you.

@@sandra4954 silver and starlight are pretty similar, but starlight is slightly warmer. It might look a little better depending on your skintone, but as far as pairing watch bands, clothes, etc, the silver would be better. Silver and black goes with practically everything

Hi I wanted to buy a dark grey color but accidentally bought silver apple watch SE. And now I am confused ? I assume that on grey scratch mark will be more visible and destroy the beauty of watch but on sliver scratch marks will not effect so much. What do you think??

Yep, that’s true! The grey shows scratches much easier than the silver. I think you shouldn’t have any issues with scratches on your silver Apple Watch :)

Thanks for your comment! Hmm, that’s a really good question. I tend to see a lot of space grey ones for sale, so those probably hold value longer, although silver is more rare so it could be easier to sell if there is not many silvers in the used market.

If you’re looking at matching with gold, Apple also makes the Apple Watch in a gold color! Alternatively, you could get the silver Apple Watch and buy a gold case for it too, so you can match it with silver jewelry and gold jewelry whenever you want.

Depends on what colors you like more for bands and if you want the watch to stand out or the bands the stand out! Get silver or starlight if you want the watch to blend better with most bands, midnight if you want the bands to stand out :)

I always REALY like the space grey/black apple devices. But i just noticed that my metal watches are all silver (it's only 2 tho..😂). I'm so confused to the point that i had to search recomendation on youtube. The music is very loud and make it hard to focus on what you are saying...☝️

I hate how easily the aluminium scratches. No matter how hard I try I always end up scratching up my iPhone 🥲

Yeah I think the aluminum is very soft so it scratches easily unfortunately
