It is. It's very hard to tell by the shadows but I see it is the same stairs (only up side down)

the new "steel frame catwalks" as you put them are called trusses I believe, there is a single frame where you can see a block called "Truss Block Light" and it shows the pillars that you called "steel beam style pillars"

Yeah I found this. it also explains the weird antenna looking thing as well. It's also a Light Truss!

Maybe the new jukebox thing will be an in-game audio mixer. Kinda like the one in NMS, of if you play Minecraft think like multiple notebooks in one block.

I wonder what the block in the menu is between the home theater and the wind turbine. It appears to be a pillar with a cylindrical part on top. 🤔

I hope that they change the HUD when you have a weapon out so you can see how much ammo you have and also add a reload button

Ok so as of today I found out how to reload on console it's LB+X discovered by accident

Pretty sure stairs with no hand rails are just stairs upside down.. I do that sometimes it works best same for half stairs, on the half ones it evens helps you not get stuck in them.

Looks like we had stairs with no handrails all along, we just didn't notice!

I think he said custom sound mod so I dont think that part is coming to the game. I'm looking forward to all those new blocks and hopefully some interesting evolutions in the update (hope it isnt all PvP based).

You know it was necessary. I mean, what's pvp combat without explosive barrels, right?

Here's what we're getting; More rehashed player-made content. No bug-fixes, no improvements.

so, 90% cosmetics, what a shame, instead of adding or improving the mechanics of the game (*coughs* economy) they waste their development time with cosmetic blocks (which have no equivalent in the vanilla game but were old mods on the workshop from a few years ago, for free [eg: transparent LCD] and they do nothing more than make the newer creations which will be built and put on the workshop almost impossible to play, because of the many DLC blocks that have no equivalent in vanilla - the ships will spawn with massive holes from now on if you don't throw money at them) what a shame, good game, good idea, it's a shame that it's spoiled by greed and stagnation. We should offer prizes to moders, they definitely deserve to be paid! They kept the game alive for more than 10 years.
