Did you realize you can build a projector into an existing ship and have it project that ship onto itself? Repair is a thing, although it can be hard to find merely damaged blocks, rather than outright destroyed ones. And there's an option that keeps the projection even after the ship is completed, so you just have to turn the projector on to fix and then off to save energy and computer processing.

Yes, I’m aware. Like you pointed out though, finding or knowing about a damaged block can be difficult, and a damaged block that might inaccessible by a welder deep inside a tight build is also not an easy repair assuming you even knew about it. It’s just an area where I think the game could use some improvement without mods. ThAmos for watching and commenting @BigusGeekus!! It’s a great game, and one that keeps delivering on enjoyment!

although dlc is not needed all the people who make ships for the workshop will use all the dlc for their ship builds and to say u are missing out on some amazing ships that contend with stuff from other science fiction is a understatement the creativity is quite impressive from the community
