‪@The_Sound_Technician‬ writes in and asks about using the SP404 mk2 for field recording. It is battery powered, the mic jack does not provide phantom power so I'd suggest getting a phantom mic, and get a cheap mic so in case you drop it or otherwise get it dirty you're not potentially ruining an expensive microphone.
