    So cool this was taken one year before I was born I grew up next to the SP Shasta route it was my backyard so seeing these locomotives bring back memories and to see all those vehicles in those open auto rocks was the icing on the cake Chevy blazer’s and Camaros I wonder if any of those vehicles are still around thanks for sharing 😁

    I had no idea that the BN had any other color of boxcar but green and yet here is a yellow one

    I was wondering what that was! Had me scratching my head for a minute there. Thought that was a pantograph on the cab roof at first.

    @@johnblood10 yeah those are icicle breakers used to break ice off of the roofs if tunnels

    An ice knocker. It chipped off icicles hanging from tunnel and snowshed ceilings before they could damage vehicles on the top deck of the open auto racks then in use.

    @@fmnut Ok thanks! I thought by the shape it prolly had something to do with tunnels but no idea what.
