S.P.Balasubramanyam Gaaru by nature is a very very soft nature person. I am watching his movements from his school days. I know him from his 9th standard class in R.P.B.S.Board High school in Sri Kalahari, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. In the above school Songs competition, he sang B.A.S pictures "CHENCHU LAKSHMI" Film song "PAALAKADALIPAI SESHA THALPAMUNA PAVALINCHEVAA DHEVAA, BAALUNI NANU DHAYA PAALINCHAGA ........." and got 1st prize. Balu sought God's grace by singing Baalu's name in that song. His voice resembled exactly as GAANA KOKILA Mrs P.Suseela's voice. Subsequently, one teacher by name Sree G.BAALASUBRAMANYAM, familiarly known as "G.B.S."(Expired in July 2017) recorded Balu's voice in SPOOL TAPE RECORDER. His voice on tape Recorder was excellent. After completing S.S.L.C. in the above school Mr.Balu, reached CHENNAI and joined A.M.I.E. Due to his interest in Singing, he suffered much for few years and got chance to sing in Tamil film SANTHINIVAASAM through MUSIC Director M.S.VISWANATHAN. After that he became a good singer in many INDIAN LANGUAGES FILMS. He song film songs and also Devotional songs in many languages. Balu is the only one person in the world who sang more than 40,000 songs in multiple Languages. He is conducting and anchoring many shows from a long time. He scored music to many films and acted in many films. He produced films and gave dubbing voice to Tamil heros. He is a multi talented person. The Government of India gave BHARATH RATNA to Ms. Latha Mangeshkar and M.S.Subbulakshmi who were experts in one field. Why the Government has not honoured S.P.Balu Sir, who is a multi talented legend in many fields. At least now the Government of India may confer BHARATH RATNA award to our S.P. BALU sir for his memorable service to the people of the nation. M.PRABHAKARAIAH, Retired Dy.Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu and School mate of S.P.Balu in High School.
