seen alot of people have fun with the sp404..i own one for 2 weeks before the power out on the unit i had to return it.. thing its not sound or recording its the quality of roland cheap junk i can show 2 synths that no longer work or 5 gk guitar synth pick ups that no longer work, back in the day they had great quality but today its a hard pass for me..i still have roland gear but it was made many years ago

Do you think stems will ever be stand alone? I noticed a slight hint that it might not. Firstly the processing requirement seems a bit too heavy for current gen mpc cpu. The desktop processors take long enough even on a small sample bd those cpus are many times more poweful than the MPCs. Then also in the marketing they now emphasise that you can use stems in the software and then use them in standalone by exporting them. Now that’s obvious to most of us and is not really a feature. If you use any stem software you can do the exact same thing. How does mpc stems compare to other software. The low price of 10 dollars tell me that akai is aware that as software their are better alternatives so have priced this accordingly to make price a factor in comparison. It’s their cheapest mpc add-on and if it worked standalone would have been its greatest new feature over flex beat and flavour pro and fabric etc. Akai are going to have to perform some serious magic to get this ported to standalone. If they can’t deliver, they will fade a lot of flack and might have to consider refunds for those who buy anticipating the standalone release. I was going to purchase it so I had it ready for when standalone comes out as I use my MPC exclusively in standalone but will wait till it arises or doesn’t and continue making music using the crazy amount of features I already have on my mpc.

Ave it's unfortunate what happened to you with that woman lots of blame to go around. However, dumping on all single-parent women is not right, and remember the reason we have so many women raising boys in our black communities is because our brothers are not responsible enough to take care of their children. I met my wife in Brooklyn she was a single parent with a 13 year old daughter and we will be celebrating 25 years of marriage this year. To this day I am very thankful the day I met them.
