Sowing and Growing in January
In todays episode i'm back! Christmas and new year have passed. It's time to show you how to sow onion seeds. I also plant some late flower bulbs ready for spring, Daffodils, Tulips, Crocuses, Hyacinths, Freesias and many many more! I install some new bird houses and Bee bricks onto the plot to help the nature in my garden. Ensuring the blue tits have a home to nest in spring. The bee bricks are perfect for solitary bees to hibernate in this year.

The garlic and winter onions are looking fantastic. The Emerald kale has had a few pickings and the grapevine garden really could do with a good tidy up after all this rain. New plans for the greenhouse and polytunnel. Terry King inspired me to add a guttering system and barrels to the polytunnel in spring.

Will @theflyinggardener channel also inspired me to paint my blue barrels to make them aesthetically pleasing on the plot. Thanks Will !
Some DIY is planned and we also take a look around another plot which has become vacant. I rescued a bird from some netting.
A trip to B&Q was done as i needed to purchase some propagators and compost for the onion seeds to grown in.
Welcome back and here's to an amazing 2023 of growing organic, no dig fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables on my welsh allotment garden in south wales!

Danny amazing how people think its OK to take from others, it's sad people property was taken. You're doing a great job, well done Danny. The new season begins
Great to get things done out of the way

You’ve been missed Danny, great video to start our year. Sorry about the corrupted one, never mind.
Man i just love your energy. I just came across your channel and you just radiated joy
My OH bought me this lovely wooden box of seeds, there's all sorts in there, veg, herbs and flowers, I've sown my onions but there's a white variety that I've not heard of, I think i'm going to get them in, I will be overrun with them next year, but I'm almost out so far so not worried, had an amazing crop of Ailsa craig last year !🙂
Look great, Danny. You're always welcome to use our tools. I'm going out to buy bulbs now. You're inspiring me. Soggy as anything on mine at the moment.
The bulbs are going to look lovely
Agree with you on blue ...

Thanks for taking us shopping,I’m from Canada and it’s neat to see other countries stores.
I have been anticipating this video!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Missed you!
Nice one Danny, i really hate these people who go around allotments in the middle of the night just to pinch tools from hard working gardeners, it really annoys me.
Nice one Danny, those bulbs are going to be fabulous in the spring. Looking forward to seeing how your onions get on ☺ 🌱 xx
Thank you for sharing information about agriculture which is very useful to inspire my agriculture
So glad you saved the bird! Love birds! We put battery operated tiny lights on a huge Norfolk Island pine in our living room. Lovely.
