I think technically this was a ZU-23-2. A ZSU-23-4 is self propelled.
The Rwandans have these mounted on Ratels and are currently in use in Mozambique. The turret system is the BAU-23-2 manufactured in Ukraine. The system is remotely operated from within the Ratel. Auto cannons are very effective... would be nice to see some footage of RDF ratels in action. I know we have zu-23-2s on our Bosvark AA system which could also be used in a ground role but single barrel 20mm like Mg 151 would likely be better or like what koevoet had Hispano Suiza Hs. 404 scavenged from de Haviland Vampires.
One barrel only? It needs the other running to cycle the action.
