Soviet Valentine Mk. IX Full Painting And Weathering (With Heavy Mud!)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
My friends, weathering a brown tank is not something we do every day, and when you couple a brown camouflage with heavy mud effects, it presents a nice, creative challenge!

Disclaimer: I have a good relationship with a handful of modelling brands and stores, namely VMS, Michigan Toy Soldier Company, and AK-Interactive. As such, I'm happy to use their products/services, and show them in my work. In return, they support my efforts in this hobby, although my hands are not bound nor am I obligated to push one brand or the other. Being independent from exclusive sponsorship deals, and instead showing you a variety of paints, techniques, and mediums was one of the founding ideas of this channel and I will always stand by this.

Hey Nightshift. I still watch your videos, but since you started making fewer videos, KZread has stopped pushing your videos to me. At all. Maybe you need to think about making smaller promo videos, teasers or updates to keep your channel alive in the algorithm. Sorry for the bother, you can probably see the statistics better than I can.
One of the few KZreadrs I will drop everything for to watch their newest video. Love your work Night Shift!

Uncle Night Shift is like the Bob Ross of the model making world on YT. His videos are so relaxing and the 30 minute video still feels like it's way too short. Keep up the great work, my dude!

I dont get to do much modelling right now with a 6 month old baby, but throwing on some Night Shift while I hold her and get her to nap hits the spot

@@fromthistexasbreath I don't even do any models, but I definitely would like to at some point when I can get the time to do it. As relaxing as these videos are, I feel it has been really educational for me since I was terrible at art/painting back in school. Definitely renewed my interest.
Got some cold beers right now and a rainy night... oh yeah!!!
Someone:"that valentine has an ugly color" Ns:"and what color is your valentine?"

It's crazy how a dark brown-green basecoat can turn into a desert khaki color then back to an olive green

Post shading is like a box of chocolates. You never know what the final color will be :D
Let me be your Valentine! Yeah! 🤩
I love how Nightshift pronounces "bogies" as "boggies"!
Whould be amazing if you whould build a tank-wreck somtimes. Your models always look amazing!
Muh friends never gets old
Amazing, your models never cease to blow me away. 😁
You have the hand of God. The quality of the video and the work is so great, delicate, and beautiful. His voice is also very good, so it's more fun to watch the video. I'm always waiting for your new video.
Darn, another beautiful work of art. I would pay good money to see what awesomeness you could do with a Baneblade :)
Thanks Martin! Looks great as always, your post-shading is second to none! I love the contrast between the blue tanker and the warm, dusty paint scheme. Thanks for brightening up our Friday!
Dear Martin, Bloody Good! Best Wishes Johnny
Only videos I like before watching. I gotta sneak at work!
Thank you , Uncle Martin . 🐺
the color composition is just *muah* cheff's kiss
Just want to say seeing a new video pop from you is a great feeling. Time to chill out and watch tonight. Can't wait. Thanks for all your work on these awesome videos! Mah friend!

Always very nice for eyes !!! Hello of France
Uncle night shift is back!!!
Good Grief, this tank has turned into a work of art!
What a nice birthday present 😊
What a great tip putting some gloss clear into base coat help with decals also so the final flat coat doesn't change the colour excellent !
Congratulations Martin. Nice work!
KZread really need a love button to smash cause I'm loving this.
Your painting and weathering is next world.
beautiful. the contrast really brings it to life.
The model is just beautiful. I see your work and I’m always Inspired to improve my modelling.
Your videos are always amazing. May i suggest a new trademark for your garden? Plant some sunflowers. Pull them out of the ground when big enough, and dry the stems and roots. These make awesome tree stumps and trunks.
You always make my day whiff your model making, so thank u for showing your skills to us.
Fantastic! You are my . odel god sir! Really. Your skills are out of this world!
It's another winner in my eyes, looks great.
Да ты уже родной друже! Жду всегда с нетерпением твоих выпусков!)
Same here - fantastic modeller! Super “armourer”
You surely are the best tank modeler in the world ! No one else indeed!
Thank you Master Night Shift! So nice to see you
absolutely amazing Martin. Lovely
Been looking forward to this episode for ages, and here it is :)
A true artist, the Michelangelo of armor!!
This video made me take out my completed Valentine and redo the weathering, it looks better - thanks for the inspiration.
It's friday baby!
Nooooooo....it can't be the end of the video!!! 😳😲😩😫 Outstanding work as always my friend! 🤜🏻🤛🏻☕
Uncle strikes again. Let see what we have today. :)

I love those oil paints and in fact I was always in awe when you used them. It's nice to see their return!
It's definitely another great looking model one of your best 👌
Another great build! 👍👍
Looking forward to building it myself!!
I always look forward to your builds, I especially like the details you add. Painting and weathering are a personal thing so, I don't commonly make any comments about it. However, in this case, the model is just so highly stylized that I was really disappointed in the finish. I know, I know, your model, and I always allow for artistic license, but this time it looks like art not a miniature replica of a tank. Still, really like the model and looking forward to the diorama! 👍
WOW! Again... You're my Inspirator these days!!!
Nightshift could you do a tool tour of all the stuff you use for modeling, sculpting, bending photo etch parts, paint brushes etc.
One word "Superb"
Superb model 👍👍
This model looks awesome 👍
First time watching scale modeling video instead of miniature painting, usually Warhammer as that's kinds my thing. I LOVE that you go about the paint job with joy and don't rush anything. I feel mini painting community is kicked in the head with the idea of SPEED PAINTING which is kinda a pressure you feel sitting to a mini. Like techniques efficiency this or that, I love your approach mate. Paintjob is obviously mind blowing, thank you I think this is very inspiring whatever is your miniature of choice I'll be trying some of things you talk about on my Krieg, and I am kinda confident it will work well Anyways happy to find your channel and I'm gonna stick around surely
Отличная модель.SUPER!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing work Uncle.
Wow it is allways amazing to watch you.
Fantastic your vids are so much fun to watch you are a amazing model maker/ artist, all your time and effort for these vid is much appreciated .😊
Unbelievable fantastic how this model came out of this proces!😮
The Michelangelo of modelers. Thank you for all you do.
impressive, sir, very impressive.
I dig this one. One of my favorite more obscure chassis and that brown turned out awesome
Awesome, totally! Especially that drum. All the best for You! ;)
Nice work. I’m finally in the last stages of building a H0 train station. Only roofs and details remain.
York work effort is unbelievable, so meticulous and neat (in a dirty, weathered way of course). I love this Valentine!
AMAZINGLY AWESOME!
that tank looks amazing as always
STRAIGHT - UP " PHENOMENAL "🏆🏆 GBA 🤗 Gary.
Glad to ser you again!
The paint colors fit you style, Uncle--good work (as always!)
I really want to see him paint a warhammer 40k tank in his style, it would look so good
thanks for saving me from the boredom of maths class!!
Must admit I always look forward to your videos, the amount of detail paintwork is amazing
What a beauty! Always glad to see you upload!
I think it would be very interesting to see you tackle barrel petaling on a knocked out tank or something in a future model
NEW NIGHT SHIFT LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Life is simple, I see a new night shift video I click and I watch! Awesome work as always!
That AK chrome paint is absolutely insane. You have so many incredible details on this model but that damaged headlight just explodes off the model. I'm definitely picking up a bottle!!
You sir, are the absolute master.
Watching night shift on my night shift 👌
Love the video, so stunning and loads of tips , thank you.
I'm always waiting for new videos! Thanks for sharing your work and knowledge! Great work as always
Always such inspirational work 👌
Very nice.Bravo!
Night Shift my friend i gotta admit, i do not understand the first thing about painting but i watch your videos because i think you're a great creator that deserves more attention. If i ever start painting my models i will actually pay attention and not have your videos as background noise. Sorry if it sounds mean, you're awesome and you've even inspired me to make more models!
It looks great! Tanks Uncle Night Shift 😁
Excellent work. Always pick up a few tips every time I watch. Very cool.
Night Shift you the man, what beautiful tank. Just stop by to say thanks for the info you pass along I started doing models last winter not knowing a damn thing but watching your videos I have learn a lot it makes modeling more fun when your projects look realistic.
