Yay for expanded compilations! I especially like that there are numerous Russian minority versions of this anthem.

Alas, this country is no longer there, for someone it is joy, for someone it is sadness. But my personal opinion is that it is not worth denying the existence of the Soviet Union, calling it a mistake and so on, history is history and we have no right to change it in any way. Let everyone who sees only bad things in this state think about whether everything is perfect in our time. Thank you for your attention

Ranking them all: Original: Now it’s hard to top this. It’s classic, it’s empowering, and it just makes you feel triumphant. 9/10 Ukranian: Now it is hard to top the Russian version, but this definitely could’ve done way better. 4/10 Tatar, Chuvash, Mari, Erzya: I’m lumping them in together because they sound very similar. That aside, they’re pretty great. The instrumental just has good vibes. 8/10 Ossetian: The instrumental is empowering, which is good. But that voice is just okay. 7/10 Estonian: It’s alright. It has the instrumental right, and the voice is good, but not anything to write home about. 8/10 Latvian: The difference in the pitch of the instrumental and the great voice is absolutely amazing. 9/10 Lithuanian: This very similar to the original anthem, just a difference in language. 9/10 German: This is similar to the Latvian anthem. Love the different pitch of the instrumental. 9/10 Finnish: Absolutely god tier. This is the best by far, no questions asked. 10/10 English: This should be pretty mediocre, but that additional stanza where both the main singer and the crowd sings just when you thought it was over is nearly orgasmic. 9/10 Japanese: This isn’t bad, but this is supposed to be an anthem, not an anime opening. 8/10 Hebrew: Good vibes. 8/10 Chinese: This is kind of trash. The voice needs improvement, and the quality doesn’t help. 2/10 Korean: This is just the Chinese version but better. 7/10 Spanish: It’s pretty good, but it would be better if the pitch was different. 8/10 Portugese: Now this is what I’m talking about! 9/10 Poland: Lmao. He sounds so uninterested in singing this. 6/10 German (Bonus): This is what you call a downgrade. 6/10

in japanese you hear “ro-shi-ah” i dont have access to all of japanese, so i can’t type those characters so its not an anime opening, the instrumental just makes it sound like an anime opening,

O português do vídeo na verdade é o do Brasil, pois o sotaque não é de portugueses e sim um sotaque brasileiro (sou brasileiro) The Portuguese in the video is actually from Brazil, because the accent is not Portuguese, but a Brazilian accent (I'm Brazilian)

1:02:02 The "bonus track" was hard to understand at first, as the singers were most probably non-native German speakers. I would guess they are Russian expats now living in Berlin, brushing up their Goethe. At the end I identified the phrase "we are proud of thee", what comes before goes along the same lines. Is there a Georgian version of this anthem? Not to be confused with the anthem of the Georgian SSR. - Also, the German version sounds amazing & sounds similar to the original anthem. It also sounds like something that would be played at the end of WW2.
