I saw a meteorite fall and got to pick that same meteorite up with my own hands i officially feel accomplished got a full stone it’s small but I’m happy. This is a nice collection but I feel like cutting the rock ruins the meteorite.

A university could analyze it for a small price.

I found one here in Butte Montana its a magnetic meteorite its size is 5" long 4" tall 3" thick it has a shell sheet on one side a melted area on another side it has directional wind lines all over it and for its size its alot heavyer than it looks a regular rock the same size is a feather my meteor is 10 times heavyer im willing to send pictures of it also my price for this outer world gem is 1 million $ it weighs 10 pounds .

I would just faint. I am making a documentary film called "Meteorites: Collection or Obsession" due May 2018, I'd LOVE to visit!

I have a specimen that is so dense it is over 66 on density but it's not magnetic it appears to have quartz in it the weight is all most 4 pounds. Any ideas on what I might have wit it being more dense than what they say a meteo is supposed to be.

My folk used to collect these things. I finally dug a hole and got rid of them all. Bunch of rocks all over the damn place.

Pretty impressive to seen this kind of meteorites stones, i found and i keep this stones its too heavy and looks so different in any other stones.

My university has one meteor hanging by a chain on display. It looks like just a rock until you try to lift it. It has such a high iron content I could barely lift it.
