A little sewerage water never hurt nobody. Growing up in Florida, we always played in the water after a hard rain. Got a little ringworm but it was fun AF.

A few years ago when I was living in Connecticut we had major flooding and they actually opened a Floodgate from a damn and literally stranded my husband and I in our town.. it was impossible to get in or out and we were stranded for about 5 days with no power and no warning of what was coming so we could maybe get some food or batteries or water Etc. Thank you Newington Connecticut for the excellent warning of what was coming.. really, the Newington town government was incredibly helpful in telling us what to do(NOT) 🙄

Omg that’s horrible! What a terrible experience I’m so sorry! I’m good now, I don’t think we’ll be getting another rainfall like that for a while .. the town is also here in the neighbourhood improving the drainage system 🙏🏻 Thanks for sharing your story! I’m glad you guys are okay 🙏🏻
