I can't lie.. Whenever SU start jiggin, I trip out. They be getting it! ... Yes, coming from a JSU fan lol. Good show Southern. #SWAC.

I am so proud to be an alumni of Southern. Stand strong SU black folks it's time to come back home to our HBCUs. Especially SU!

They filled the stadium with watts and beautiful arrangements from start to finish.

1st let me thank the producer (Garrett Edgerson) 2nd let me thank the Director Mr Haymer and his assistants and 3rd and deff not least the young men and women that make this the greatest marching band in the world. SU marching band,simply the GREATEST SHOW ON PLANET EARTH.

Everywhere we go that 504!!!

I was there Section 120, Row 27, Seat 3 and man can I tell you the HUMAN JUKEBOX shut it down and showed out!!!!! I have been a fan for almost 3 years now and I can't do nothing, but show love to them and how hard they work to be how good they are. Keep doing your thing Southern and stay on top.

I mean what is there to say? That show was genius. I love that fact that when SU is in there step two you can always here the tune they play. Take notes Dega lol..

When I say this im sure the # will only rise. but for real Garrett, in less then 24 hours over 10,000 views. And ppl wonder why this is simply the Greatest marching band in all the world. Haters will do what they do. But to me its not hate its enviousness when u hit that thumb down because you want the band u love to be where this one is. Simple solution. hard work, dedication, skill, and determination. You don't build this kind of following in the span of a day or because you have a good show or two. this is decades of excellence we are all witnessing.

Man! Wow! Awesome! As a big time Marching Band there's no one bigger then SU! The sound INCREDIBLE! The look OUTSTANDING! The drive UNMATCHED! SU STANDS ALONE! YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE DUPICATED! a great END to a great SEASON! I enjoyed every bit of it and can't wait til the next one. Thank you

Thank GOD that all Southern band directors and assistants doesn't make this band March sideways and backwards, keep elbows parallel to the ground and marching forwards into greatness, SU JAGS leads the way !!!

This was my first time seeing Southern University preform live and it was the best... This is why they are the best and NOBODY DOES IT BETTER.#LetsGoSouthernUniversity

let me tell you something! this band is on a level by themselves! did you hear those tubas? if you don't know what screaming trumpets are? then listen! I've been watching black college marching bands since the early seventies. I marched in an HBCU marching band in the early seventies. I have never heard a band sound like this! nobody but Southern University! they have always been this raw! I witnessed them blow every damn body out! and they are still doing it!

No disrespect to the amazing work of Garrett Edgerson, but as amazing as this work is, it is no comparison to the authentic power of SU at the HONDA! I was happy I was on the 50 watching them perform. I was in awe of the flawless performance SU put on. Complete and utter dominance, it's why I drove to the HONDA, to see #SU and #ASU and they both Delivered!!!

Grambling 4 life but SU I have to give it to ya Damn!!!!!

Wow this was amazing. First time I am seeing Nathan using a baton to conduct the band rather than using hands. Change of pace. Got love SU Band. Always something new and it's done right. Great Job SU!

JSU and SU played with more Power than all the other bands. NC A&T had a great show. Musicianship goes to SU. Sounded very clear. The Boom and Jsettes showed out. Sit with a lot of people who have never seen the Boom OR Jukebox, they were MEAC fans say those were the Best 2 bands of the night..Way to go SWAC!!!!!

kgivens225 I was there and I don't get how JSU's trombone player embarrassingly falls on his face yet y'all praise JSU and say you were disappointed with Alabama State. Nobody's perfect but that's very whack and disrespectful to ASU for you to hop on KZread and only criticize them. Those kids at ASU also worked really hard and represented the SWAC well. Critique and criticize them all and fairly. Y'all grown asses need to do better. It's sad. *Honda saved the best for last, the SWAC.* All 3 bands from the SWAC did good!!! Stop it.

My point was you witnessed a fall during JSU's show but you have yet to state how disappointed you are in them being that they were also representing the South-Western Athletic Conference. That fall wasn't funny, it was embarrassing! You're picking and choosing which bands from the SWAC to be "disappointed" in. That's whack af.

I'm impartial as hell I love both bands,but whomever thought JSU show was better is crazy.

Honda really saved the best for last, the SWAC. ASU, JSU & SU. What y'all not gonna do is sleep on ALABAMA STATE & the Stingettes because they came with it & ATE! The SWAC in whole really represented their conference well yesterday! Great job to all 3! I love the SWAC.

One of the best shows I've every seen them perform

This was the first time seeing them perform live. I must say that I was very impressed. My wife who is an ncat grad is now a fan after seeing them perform. Definitely will be traveling from South Carolina to see them in Georgia this upcoming football season. Keep up the good work!! #Humanjukebox

Its obvious that the Human Jukebox is the reason bands around the country are going to start putting in work. They know if SU is on the schedule and traveling, there's a good chance that they will lose their own crowd. Staight up and down, don't see another HBCU as in demand as the Jukebox. They are the celebrity of bands imo

Back in the seventies when my siblings were in college at S.U. I became familiar with this band and have been a big fan ever since. They have a great marching technique and awesome sound, very precise and clear. Keep up the good work S.U. jags.

Thanks for posting. I was there and OMG. SU didn't let me down. You can see and hear the difference in the music being played. I'm proud of the SWAC. You all did a great job. I sat by two nice white ladies and they asked who was that playing and I said the Human Jukebox and she said I sat through all these band they should have gone on first and people from the section said if they would have gone on first 'They would have left after they finish...Honda knew better than to put SU first or second...LOL

Does every band have their own camera people? Cause SU show had video effects, panning from one view to another and just awesome recording while other bands had one dull view of the band.

As much as the staff and kids put in work for us to see in the stands an on the field but their marketing team is just as important into turning the band a brand!! I truly respect what they're doing I like how the different Director of Bands over the years brought different elements, kept it in house, and kept its roots. SU always been that deal but it was always in FAMU'S shadow but now they're leading and doing a great job and this coming from a GA Boy!!

Look at BBC standing up when they felt the power from SU on the sideline blow down...lol #Respect

JSU doesn't suck but i was really disappointed in their performance. They basically played accompaniment to the artists. I wanted to see boom box pt. 2. My jukes CLEARLY won since JSU didn't bring their A game.

Love the tune the dolls dance off of them arrangements kill an all the other bands have to sit there an take it

Boaring which show yhall watch the crowd told it all feel how u feel I thought j state drill was Boaring no drive great sound but no design people walking hitting lines late an not enough drilling that's what tells it all not a concert with artist but what the band it self does u got murdered kmsl
