At the 7:03 mark a trumpet literally stopped playing and started holding his horn towards the grown skating…. Southern has been getting more sloppy every year 🙊

And what exactly is the right way? No rock like Grambling? Slight rock like Jackson State? To each band their own. Personally, I'd prefer they march in place rather than just stand there, a la St. Aug, but other than that, that Jaguar Rock is perfect. #WarDocGreggs

Typical SWAC band...just play loud so notes are slurred..no music phrasing..I hardly recognize some of the songs. Check out the Norfolk State U Spartan Legion in the 2023 Rose Bowl Parade. The world of marching is now on notice.
