I love how Southern always drilling to some pretty damn amazing songs! The song selections sets them apart from the rest! The Dancing Dolls slayed that routine! They were absolutely amazing! I'm loving Danielle's creativity! Lastly the diss, I had no idea that JSU band were caught stealing towels and robes from the Red Roof Inn! That's not cool and embarrassing for all of our HBCU's!

Damarcus, people from both schools and SWAC knows JSU always say "Thee" for everything so SU played on it. Don't be fooled JSU got the message.

They also did great.

Watched both, so far I liked both, but imo the dolls were more interesting than the settes

Some of ya'll must've forgotten about what JSU did a couple of years ago when SU was having $$$ problems and JSU dissed them on that.

Babyboy478, I have to agree with you on this one. Even though SU did not have a game last weekend, the Dolls look like they learned this new routine a couple of days ago. Toes were not pointed on the high kicks and formations were slightly off. Were any Dolls missing? I'm sure they will perform better next week and get the routine up to their usual high standard.

I've see SU make 2 different type of "Stars" this game and the Bayou Classic.

Both bands field shows were OK. Haymer... would love to see SU do a drill to I love you I live you or Clouds. By 1 one of the greatest ever female singers ever. Chaka Khan. Would also love to hear yall play some songs by Sade. mainly is it a crime Cherish the day, Turn my back on you. No ordinary love. Etc.. And Luther Vandross. But as far as in the stands. Yall were amazing. Keep the machine going. Another W. Forever Jaguars. Forever Stags. Forever Wolves

MrDangerous1030 is not all about playing loud when SU play they play the song not the notes have you really sat there and listened to the the music they play it's on another level they have the best arrangements there is why can't you just admit that they sound good and to be honest JSU arrangements will never be as good as SU but on the same note I like a lot of JSU song and it nothing wrong with that everyone has their favorite band and SU is mines and JSU is your and that's fine it's nothing wrong with liking other bands music and I know everyone talk a lot of trash but that all it is trash talking I think we all love the kids but really it's all about them having fun

I'm not a fan or alum of either. I watched both halftimes. I think JSU's was better.

Hamer has always been good at being petty but with that being said don't think JSU was going to take this line down! But can anyone agree with Southern see about Jackson State. If you know the history of HBCU bands there's only 3 schools that are original; which are Southern University ,Grambling State University, and FAMU. Jackson State have been stealing southern style since the 80s. Now let's be truthful Jackson State along with other college bands have start trying to imitate the way that southern arrange their music but just quite haven't got it yet.

I'm disturbed by the Star. I did that drill back in the late 90s... So I took away points. The Red Roof Inn, was good, and #Theef was good. You gotta be on top of current events to know the references or why they spelled it that way. I wanna give Southern the win, but that Star killed me! I'm like "REALLY?! we still doing stars?!" Ugh! I mean, other than the video footage JSU used, I wasn't too impressed either but at least they didn't use a star...

SU has the best drills. The energy and intensity lies in the cymbals (tempo) and the flashyness of the horns.. i love the energy of this band when they drill. Morever, SU drills are way more complex than JSU's

I'm so disappointed in Southern,,, JSU has clearly been attacking every band who sat across from them all season & left Crankfest with the Win (in my opinion). So the anticipation for this show was Sky HIGH & I just knew SU show was going to be Great,,, ugghhh y'all let me down!!!! I get the #THEE, still was lame but there is no reason THIEF was misspelled. You cant possibly give me valid reason why that E could not be turned into an I, that def went over my Head! & the Red Roof Inn don't provide robes everybody knows that. I feel like haymer and company tried too hard with a diss that is very false and was never proven at the end of the day... star drill was okay...., dance number was um yeah... dolls weren't locked in on that one at all.
