Maya is so classy and has so much poise. She looks like a tall glass of milk lol. Her struts and arm movements are on point. This was Bayou Classic you cant compare it to Mardi Gras. They had 3 back to back performances. Can’t wear them out completely lol

Not sure of her name but the beauty at front left could lead EVERY parade EVERYwhere with that strut. It is nothing short of fierce!

Maya looks awesome leading. I never expect a lot of different parade moves from them. I'm just ready too see what they are bringing to the game!!!

KP and Myia/Mya (not sure which is the correct spelling) are the reasons I am such a fan of this line. Never paid any attention to collegiate dance lines, but they commanded my attention...and I'm still a fan. I LOVE seeing Black Girl Magic and power in motion.

See I didn't want to say anything because Doll fans will come for your throat (and yes I do like the Dolls) but in terms of aesthetic they look completely different to me. I think because their hair is straight. I miss the curls. On another note Im heartbroken Dani's first BC she isn't able to dance. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

other races have a disadvantage to make it; they aren't in high schools that feed these HBCU bands & auxiliary teams; nor those school bands have this HBCU- style structures. its a harder tryout There are more high school bands than college and those OPENING slots are taken before it is opened. its like a Floridian trying to get on a hockey team or drive 1 mile in snow blizzard. they are not going to make it

Why is there never a question like this when it’s all whites or hispanics ? Why does everything that African Americans have or do need to be inclusive to other races but no one feels other races should include people of color ?
