Wow, incredible! I am 25 y/o and learning how to cook. I decided I wanted to do a sweet potato pie for my family but they begged me not to. After much research on KZread on how to fix one and not embarrass myself, I stumbled upon your channel. I’m saying all of this to say, my family was shocked on how good it was. The only ingredient I omitted was the flour because my batter was very thick!!! I’ve literally have been crying because I gained respect on a black folks thanksgiving 😂 or maybe they were just trying to make me feel good? Either way I thought the recipe was fabulous. Thank you!

This hands down was the best sweet potato pie recipe I've had in a long time...the brown butter and roasting the sweet potatos made all the difference. Thanks for sharing your receipe.

It lasted 3 days in my house which is actually pretty good. If I had some vanilla ice cream on hand it would have been a wrap. Sweet potato pie crumbled up in vanilla ice cream..mercy!

that little layer of mushy crust between the pie is where it's at. i also love that when my mom would make it that way in just a standard egg custard pie. sooo good!
