In the last days, we’re there…God promised to pour out of His Spirit on ALL flesh, male and female. His Spirit comes to enable us to carry out the work of God in the earth. Scripture must be read in context. Thank GOD, that He doesn’t consult with man when HE decides to use a man or woman. God uses whomever He chooses, male or female. He is seeking labourers, GENDERLESS, just labourers to harvest souls for the Kingdom. It is a shame that this fruitless argument persists in many churches. What a distraction!

You need to expand your Bible reading. God selected Miriam, Deborah, Miriam, Huldah, and Noadiah as prophets. Deborah as both judge and prophet. The in the New Testament, Anna. But Paul mentions other women though not by name. Also, Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong were venerated by SBs for years and years as great missionary leaders. This is just cranky old men straining at gnats.

Don't do that to yourself, the Lord loves you and doesn't want to see you be thrown into hell. That soul(consciousness) inside of you is a piece of the holy spirit, make sure it returns to Heaven, not disposed in the flaming garbage incinerator. Our complete time on earth is a blink compared to the eternity we have waiting for us, that Jesus prepared for us. That's literally the purpose of life, why we were placed here, to see which ones are worthy of eternal salvation by accepting the Lord and receiving Heaven, and those that deny him and will be denied BY him on judgement day. Just think about it, please. This world isn't the end, it's the beginning. Your soul is too important to not care about where you spend eternity. I pray that the seed in you grows and brings you back to Jesus. Even if it feels like the entire world is against you, remember that Jesus has and always will love you, that soul inside of you was a gift from him, use it wisely. God bless you and I hope to see you in Heaven one day.

That is, "No religion, except for Christianity." The Bible teaches an incredibly high view of women. In marriage, you see it most clearly in Ephesians 5:25 (which was written by the Apostle Paul), in the gospel accounts of the life of Christ it's everywhere, in the Old Testament's Proverbs it's all over the place. In Genesis 2:18 we read that the man is insufficient in himself, and is in need of a helper, and so God creates a woman to be the only one who can be suited for that role. It's just all over Scripture. Women are held in amazingly high esteem in Scripture. So are men, and so are children. God does not esteem either of them over the other anywhere in Scripture. Just because He creates men and women with certain unique roles and responsibilities in their families and churches, each having their own freedoms and restrictions, doesn't mean that He doesn't see them as equal in value. He most certainly does. For anyone to say that Christianity is an anti-woman religion clearly doesn't understand what the Bible teaches on the matter at all.

If the Lord wants to speak through women, he will and has. So you want to allow gays to preach but not women, there's a big problem. Jesus had female apostles, this isn't Islam where women are treated with less respect than sl*ves. Jesus loves everyone, including his persecutors, but he doesn't love our sins, so repent, help those that need it, don't condemn them, because our sins don't define us, but don't bring sin into a church and encourage others to sin instead of repenting away from those sins.

The Bible is the Word of God....YES OR NO Paul was an instrument, used by God, and the Word that God revealed through Paul was given by the Holy Spirit YES OR NO So you are picking and choosing what scripture is literal or just for Pauls time? YES OR NO 2Tim. 3 Verses 16 to 17 [16] ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: YES OR NO [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. YES OR NO Paul made that statement and also gave a REASON WHICH NO ONE IS QUOTING! 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Women are designed to be compassionate, more nurturing and will cave in to an emotional situation or take a less confrontational position. THAT is what Paul means. Men are more black and white with instruction and authority and teaching THE WHOLE COUNCIL OF God The only times I see someone try to manipulate, twist, distort, discredit Gods Word, it is always because they are trying to Justify sin, a lifestyle, or a decision. Which is it for you? Is Gods Word not perfect? Has it not changed lives, healed marriages, cured addicts, forgiven sin and had prodigals return to Gods loving arms? Be careful ! The Kingdom of God is a Government ruled by our Father Yahweh - the King of Glory. Democracy is not found anywhere in the Bible because it's based on Paganism. Just like any other religion created by man. We should never question Gods Word. Why should a woman even want to be a pastor?! Because they are jealous ( those who are) and want to be noticed!! It’s a pride thing

This issue of not allowing women in church in positions of leadership is exactly why my church left the Southern Baptist Convention! Women are just as qualified to lead a church as a man.

@@Heyyoulady Starting with the King James version, the Bible is a translation of Latin, which was a translation of Greek which was a translation of Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke. As soon as someone translated from the original text, which no one has, you changed more than 1 JOT or 1 TIDDLE. Don't tell me what the Bible says about women. That was Paul's message to the church, NOT A DIRECTIVE from God.

Whenever I hear about big congregations of the faithful like this I always wonder why they don't vote on reinstating slavery. Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy all advocate or at least discuss rules for slavery, including rules on who can be enslaved, how much to pay for slaves, that it's okay to beat your slaves as long as they don't die within a day or two, and the separate rules for Israelite slaves that are more generous and gentle. The hypocrisy of the practice of Christianity in this country is stunning, not the least of which is the support for Donald Trump as THE CHOSEN one. It's easy to understand why Jesus wept, He's probably still weeping.

@@avgejoeschmoe2027 I notice that you just did a drive-by ecumenical attack with no substance. You really should have been a trifle more specific if you are going to attack my understanding of the bible, or was it the insane support for Chump that annoyed you? Maybe you would like to explain Exodus 21: 20-21 about beating slaves? How about the fact that NOWHERE in the bible does god or Jesus ban owning other people as property? Maybe you would rather explain Leviticus 25:44-46? The bible advocates for slavery, owning people and passing them on to your children as inheritance. Prove me wrong, quote scripture.

@@avgejoeschmoe2027 Golly, Joe, I see they took down my reply to you. Truth hurts? I guess it's not acceptable to post scripture on a Christian channel. The hypocrisy would be stunning if it wasn't so common. I wasn't surprised to see your response to my initial post because in my experience most self-identified Christians haven't really READ the bible and don't know what's in it beyond what some preacher tells them on Sunday. Really read the bible and think about what it says, what it advocates, and you will discover why the text of the bible has made more people into atheists than any other book. For reference to begin your study of the bible text I would recommend two books: the first which will start you fairly gently is SHOCKED BY THE BIBLE by Joe Kovacs who is a journalist and religion writer/reporter who quotes scripture liberally. The second book is not for the faint of heart, it is a compendium of all the things in the bible that are NOT preached about from the pulpit. The author is Ben Edward Ackerley, a theologian wrote THE X-RATED BIBLE to point out that there are a lot of things in scripture than people don't know about. Again, both of these books quote scripture mostly right out of the good ol' 1611 King James bible. And we know it's all true because it's the Word of God, right? To the channel owners/moderators: Why are you afraid of what the bible text actually says?
