It'd be the Light Reaction Regiment for the Philippines since they recruit from the Scout Rangers and other sf units in the country and are trained by US, UK and AUS sf units, they were also the same unit that was at the start of VICE's video in Marawi *(Philippines Special Forces Are On The Hunt For ISIS Militants)* .The LRR also gets the majority of funding and equipment from the government.

@@MikeOpinion_2023 pretty sure you already know but scout rangers specialize in jungle warfare and reconnaissance whereas LRR are traditional hard line spec operators although after marawi both units developed into effective urban fighters as well, in regards to them being better than the others in the list its hard to tell because they haven't fought each other and probably never will

Among the achievements of Kopassus: Successfully freeing airplane hostages at Don Muang airport (Woyla Operation) in 1981, freeing dozens of local and foreign researchers from held separatists in Papua in 1995 (Mapenduma Operation) which was called "impossible" because Papua's wild nature was impossible conquered, even to this day. Kopassus was the first Southeast Asian force to reach the top of Everest '97. Once the 3rd best special forces in the world behind the SAS and Mossad, according to the Discovery Military Channel in 2008.

Philippine Scout Rangers were created to counter the HUKBALAHAP that formed during World War II and counter the NPA and other Moro rebels and terrorists. The Philippine Scout Rangers have too much recognition for many countries such as USA, South Korea, Japan and Australia. If you wat to compare the Special Forces, you have to at least compare them with achievements, victories and battle experiences. Do not compare them with just a hijacking.

Asia devided into five geographical regions cause is very useful to assists in categorizing the different countries and people of Asia, who vary considerably from one geographical area to another. For example many South Asian people and South Asian countries share common foods, languages, facial features, and more, whereas many East Asian or Southeast Asian are also share something in common. None of it to keep it backward area, why thinking so negative?? When I said educated yourself, I just expect everyone learning that on their geography lessons in school, cause in my country we learnt about it and it is very basic education. Also keep asking about India when the video is about ASEAN not Asia and every comment saying about Southeast Asia countries not Asia countries as whole, which is very clear, just showing lack of reading comprehension.

In terms of weaponry our scout rangers will have a hard time competing with the others.. Be that as it may if you put scout rangers and other countries rangers in the jungle unarmed.. ph scout ranger will Excel because of the level of their craftsmanship is high and their knowledge in the jungle. But im not saying others are not deadly .. people who are ready to kill are the ones that are deadly. .no matter what country they are from.

@@annabeauty2947 You didnt wipe out Jemaah Islamiyah it was just a few people who helped Abu Sayyaf since Abu Sayyaf is fighting under them and pledging alliance to them, Abu Sayyaf fought under the name ISIS but are not the real ISIS from the middle east which are way tougher, better equipped, better funded and physicaly taller and stronger than small filipinos. A few hundred Abu Sayyaf members are still not wiped out since the 90 or whenever theywere active. And now to that funny myth 1,000 Filipino soldiers vs 40,000 Chinese soldiers which cant be historicaly more untrue and inaccurate, it was historically never proven that in the korean war it was 40,000 chinese. The absolute truth is that it was 1000 Filipinos vs 2000-5000 Chinese soldiers. Filipinos killed 700 of them so the chinese retreated and thats the one and only historically proven truth, proven by any legit historians throughout time and written down in legit history books. Maybe an education would do you good
