I’m glad I found out about this film today through the Chicago Sun-Times. Ever since I moved here a few years ago I’ve been really interested in learning about the area’s history. The Southeast Chicago Historical Society’s Museum helped me learn a lot. I really love walking around the neighborhood and in Calumet Park. The people here are really nice and it’s really a different part of the city that is very overlooked by most of Chicago, especially the city government. I’m excited to see this film when it comes out! I think this is a really admirable project and I hope it brings about change. I love supporting local filmmakers-especially fellow Chicago filmmakers! ✊
