Substitute Liam Feeney struck deep into stoppage time to break Millwall's Southampton jinx in The FA Cup -- and send Kenny Jackett's side into Round Five.
Before this tie, Millwall had tried and failed to get past Southampton on five different FA Cup occasions and it looked like it could be a similar story after Rickie Lambert had put the Championship high-flyers 2-1 up with just 13 minutes remaining.

But, after Danny N'Guessan equalised almost immediately, Feeney emerged from the bench to score a dramatic winning goal -- meaning it is sixth time lucky for Millwall against Southampton.

Darius Henderson had scored with just minutes remaining of the initial tie to set up this replay at St Mary's. But, with Southampton second in the Championship and Millwall one place above the relegation zone, it was the home side who were expected to progress here.

Jackett's side had other ideas though and took the lead after 17 minutes through Liam Trotter, who finished neatly with his left foot from the edge of the area.

Southampton were struggling to create but equalised with their first shot on target ten minutes before the break through Adam Lallana. The former England Under-21 midfielder was on hand to stroke a calm finish past David Forde to level the tie once again.

Lallana almost edged his side into the lead when a vicious free-kick came back off the bar, but they did not have long to wait. Saints' top scorer Lambert, who came on in the 54th minute, fired the home side ahead with his first real attempt on goal.

But the visitors produced the perfect reaction by hitting back within two minutes of Lambert's strike.

The lively James Henry did well to get to the byline and cross for N'Guessan who powered a bullet header past Bartosz Bialkowski to level matters once again.

That was N'Guessan's last action of note as he was withdrawn by Jackett five minutes later. And it was his replacement Feeney who finally settled the tie two minutes into stoppage time.

With extra-time looming, the 25-year-old Londoner received a quickly-taken free-kick from Harry Kane before drilling a rasping 25-yard effort home.

Millwall, the 2004 FA Cup Finalists, will now host Premier League Bolton Wanderers in Round Five for a place in the quarter finals.
