South Shore Line trip!
I took train trip from Michigan City to Chicago and return. I saw two old orange cars at storage area outside Michigan City. It was good to see them from train.

The South Shore is the best way to get to downtown Chicago, inexpensive, very timely, and clean! We takake itfrom South Bend Airpot several time a year!

@russelllauer8323: They should schedule even more trains to and from the South Bend International Airport Station. Between Gary and Michigan City IN double tracking is now complete and it would be possible to schedule more trains.
The Grand Elk Railroad could connect Grand Rapids, MI, to the NICTD. Just a dream I guess!

Where is the "deadman's switch" on those cars? It ain't in the Controller Handle because the motorman had his had off and the train was still moving.
