The part where Reba and Alex Baldwin have to ad lib because he got lost is hilarious. Especially when he starts to laugh a little bit by it. I can watch this part over and over again and it will still make me laugh.

Best South Pacific I’ve seen. Love the whole cast & production , Reba the most.

This is by far the best performance ever of South Pacific Reba is the best!! Wish we could see all videos in one loop.

Bloody Mary is great in this - I mean both the song & the actress! I used to bartend and I always had to bite my tongue so I didn't scream "STINGY BASTARD!!" after non-tipping guests. XD

I saw the touring South Pacific almost two years ago, and when this scene starts and the stage is full of the G.I.s, I was like "holy hot guys everywhere!!!" :)

Unfortunate that there are so few views (in this case only about 1,100) for this excellent performance.

Alec Baldwin was miscast as Luther here. The fact that he couldn't even find his answer to Nellie's question, if he finished her laundry, shows he was not really interested in the part. Later on when he dances to Honey Bun, he is too overweight for the part. Ray Walston was ideal in the movie version and they should have cast someone more like Ray to play Luther. As a matter of fact many of the Navy members cast here were too heavy for their parts. Reba, Brian and Jason are perfectly cast. Their voices fit their characters to a tee. I have never heard Some Enchanted Evening nor This Nearly Was Mine sung more gloriously! Outstanding BSM! You are a joy to hear. Also love your Impossible Dream from Man of La Mancha .

We did this in high school ( like 1963). Not the whole play,, just the vocals, and the guys really liked singing, " There's Nothing Like a Dame," ! We all had so much fun doing it.⭐⭐⭐

They all have scripts. I think it was a one night concert thing so they didn't memorize all the lines.
