I was there and what a game it was. The score doesn't come close to describing what actually was a dominating performance by PNG.

SOC went to the game thinking they already won without playing the game, they lost before the game started they looked flat from the jump. PNG showed them thats why you play the game, you have to stay focus, SOC could have easily ran away with it had they stayed focused and put their egos aside, PNG brought the SOC back to reality..

it was the wrong call BUT it was a penalty, defensive holding vs a DPI, which is the same type of penalty, auto 1st and half the distance to the goal. So a penalty was indeed correct

The penalty they called for PNG was the same call they missed against PNG. Soc should have gotten the same type of calls earlier and this game wouldn't have been that close. The refs kept PNG in the game

Please stop kidding yourselves into thinking that the game was deciding on a call that was and will always be the right call. Take yalls a L and be glad yall were even there for a third time.

SOC made plenty of their own mistakes offensively but that game winning “drive” by PNG was super sus. Every time their backs were against the wall they were saved by the officials. Doesn’t help that that was their only TD producing drive as well.

Coaching lost it. SOC could run the ball all day, but the coaches were set on trying to pass.

SOC got a taste of what hard-nosed SETX football is all about. I’m sorry but when you bring so much self-glorification to your football culture it makes people glad to see them get dominated. “Legendary” on their jackets, “The Mecca” on their jerseys. Slowly walking out of the tunnel like they are too cool to play the likes of PNG. Was refreshing to see them dominated by a team who just sticks their hand in the dirt and gets to work

Before I even started watching this game I knew the refs was going to cheat just like out here in California whenever you see Trailor trash playing the refs are going to help them. This will always be a problem . The team in purple whoever the hell they are was playing dirty a lot of dirty late hits were not called. PNGs defense held SOC to 167 yards. Not 167 yards for green, not 167 yards for the half, but 167 yards for the whole game. PNG won time of possession, PNG had more rushing yards, PNG had more passing yards, PNG won the turnover battle, PNG won the kicking battle. They won every stat in the game.

It’s the coach’s job to review the ref crew. He agreed to that ref crew, and had the same access to information as anyone else. The ref in question only called one penalty all game, and it wasn’t the one everyone is whining about (which was the exact right call).

The refs made bad calls the last 2 years when they won State, SOC was just too good those years. Those players gone now, so in a close game the refs won. Dallas got over 40 high schools in the hood, Soc the 1st state winners, and back to back champs. They already won 💪🏿💯
