Getting it super clean in order to make the seal will be a bit of a pain to accomplish in the usual situation where you'd need this thing. Not to mention there might be problems if the bowl has any chips or scrapes where this thing is expected to make a seal. Old school plunger seems more likely to work with less mess.

Just shit in a bucket. Soon after you wash up gather some grass clippings or other green vegetation and add them with some water. At some point you will have some ideal fertilizer for gardening. There may be other steps to get desired results. If interested, look up composting human waste.

Plungers are cheap,extremely effective,and require no adhesive. Adhesives damage the paint on your toilets,and ,makes your butt stick to the toilet. The plastic adds to more plastic pollution to the world's environments. The cost of these adhesive plastic is very high too. A cheap,effective plunger last for over a decade. for $4.00,some places as cheap as $3.00 for one plunger. This seal is also risky and causes fecal germs to come into contact with the seat's inner rim.....disgusting. It that plastic punctures,ohhh the disgusting mess,and health risk. It's called a "toilet plunger" The important part is it has that tapered tip that fits into the bottom. A lot of people don't know but that old common red one with a wide base is actually a "sink plunger" and not designed at all to work on toilets! If a plunger won't work you must use a snake, if a snake won't do it man you've got problems and this thing won't help a bit!

The only thing in your toilet that's going to get clogged with mineral deposits are the flushing jets not your sewer/septic/drain line. it's actually not that difficult to clean them either. Just use a little CLR.

You can use Saran Wrap and some packing tape. I’ve done this once on a very stubborn clog. But I works very well.

I see many complaining but the seal and material its made from is very durable. Takes quite a bit of effort to push a hand through it using the flat of your palm. I've used these one and they work CRAZY well. Better then having poo water splashing you while trying to plunge.

For the experts in the comments: 1: This is most likely the cheap version, the equivalent of those 50 cent plungers you get at the dollar store that come in 4 packs. 2: Most modern toilets have a built in function to stop any backwash from getting into the tank that can handle enormous perssure, so no, the water wouldn't go back into the tank. 3: Yes, a nail could puncture it, and it could seal improperly, but are you seriously going to keep using it after the first sign of that? Also, using a plunger wrong can ALSO cause a huge spray of shit and piss to drench your floor, even BIGGER than what this would cause at it's worst. 4: Yes, residual piss might be on the plastic, but guess what? THE SAME HAPPENS TO PLUNGERS, AND WE DON'T THROW THEM AWAY. 5: It doesn't fucking matter how big your turds are, the same exact difference in difficulty of unclogging the toilet would ALSO be met when using a plunger, the only difference is with a plunger you would use extra force, and with this you would just pump it more times. Just enjoy a cool innovation without shitting on it just because you want to feel like you have the superior culture.

Zeriph332 I never even mentioned the seal breaking, because I don't even care about that aspect what so ever when making the comparison. The point is that there is a product, that lasts practically forever and therefore saves you a lot of money in the long run, that gets the job done in the exact same manner and is much faster to do so. You are basically paying extra money and spending extra time in order to not have a plunger in your bathroom. The way toilets are set up allow even the smallest amount of suction to clear clogs formed by your crap... no amount of crap backing it up can actually be prevented from going down due to the large holes and water pressure. So again I ask what is so innovating about a product that is NOT as good as a standard plunger, not as convenient, and also will cost you more money?

i can see this trick would do a better job than a plunger in a serious clogged condition. many people use plunger in the wrong way. a plunger bowl needs to be filled with water full, not air full like many people think. when you push down the plunger, the water pressure will flush the clog away. the south korean method can let you push far more water pressure into the drain. so it could be very effective.

You're putting a shit-ton of faith in the glue manufacturer to keep that seal tight.

great idea. seems to work. but completely worthless. plungers already do this. and 1 lasts for years

Plungers are cheap,extremely effective,and require no adhesive. Adhesives damage the paint on your toilets,and ,makes your butt stick to the toilet. The plastic adds to more plastic pollution to the world's environments. The cost of these adhesive plastic is very high too. A cheap,effective plunger last for over a decade. for $4.00,some places as cheap as $3.00 for one plunger. This seal is also risky and causes fecal germs to come into contact with the seat's inner rim.....disgusting. It that plastic punctures,ohhh the disgusting mess,and health risk. The plunger also requires no additional water to be sued. This plastic adhesive seal,requires additional flushing,which is wasting water..This is the silliest,wasteful invention ever.

Oh My Goodness! Is this for real? Where can I buy these? Someone at my house creates major dinosaur dumps and clogs out toilets several time a week! Please provide info on where I can but some of these!

We have several diffrent style plungers but non are strong enough to get the huge turds to go down. Having to use a plumbing snake on the mondo stuck turd is so gross! The "turd creator" is supposed to use a stick to break up his dino-sized" poop bricks. But most of the time he just flushes 1st, to see what happens. Of course that turd gets into a log jam! We already have the Toto brand toilet, (rated the best for these sort of situations), but the monster dino-turds jam it up just as much! Time to have an outhouse dug I guess ;)

wait a second, are we just gonna skip past the part where you said someone has to use a stick to bust up his monster shit log?...so many questions, here...like for one, there's a stick by the toilet, so he can chop that sucker into smaller parts? People dissing this need to stop. it truly is unique and innovative. this is most likely used in hotels and offices and not just in an everyday home. this is much more sanitary than a plunger who most people forget to clean and sanitize afterwards.

No one with any common sense uses chemicals on toilet clogs,because if a plunger cannot unclog it, chemicals will not work either. If a plunger cannot unclog it,you have a major clog,that will require a plumbing auger. If a plumbing auger will not work,you have a very expensive plumbing repair which will require digging up the pipes to replace with new piping. Chemicals agents are used for small pipe work,such as kitchen and bathroom sinks. Small pipes clog easier,and a plunger may not fit properly for adequate suction. I'm a determined man,and I have used plungers successful on sinks before. You state this method does not use chemicals? Well plastics are a massive concoction of chemicals. The most hazardous fire to firemen are fires that involved large quantities of plastics. The toxic fumes of plastic are the most dangerous. Those plastics are costly,a plunger last for at least a decade. Those plastics will end up in a land fill,or incinerated releasing toxins into the atmosphere. A plunger is made of wood and rubber,both natural material,both bio degradable,both tremendously less toxic than any plastics. You state this design eliminates splashing? This design creates massive splashing. If any adhesive fails or if improperly applied,splashing would be the least of your worries. You would have a bio hazard flood in your restroom. This method also causes contamination of the inner lip of the toilet ,as the video clearly shows sewage rising on the inner rim. So after using this time wasting,costly,inefficient method;you then have to decontaminate the inner rim with bleach. If you do not decontaminate anyone who lifts the toilet seat are directly exposed to pathogens. Plungers do do splash up to the inner rim,unless you improperly use them. The more liquid in the toilet ,the less chance of splashing would occur. Plunger also do not require additional flushing,which saves water. Conclusion,this method is hazardous,a waste,costly,time consuming,disgusting, and inadequate. Anyone who disagrees,are simply in denial,blind race loyalist,or complete buffoons.
