I can’t believe that just after 17 years since the end of war Korea started to develop so rapidly

@@jeshkam Hello sir It is located in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. Chupungryeong Rest Stop (0:20) in the video is the first highway rest stop in Korea. It's where the president also visited, and the surroundings have changed, but they still exist. Umm ..Korea is very different from Korea 50 years ago.

The 1970s was a time when the South Korean economy began to outpace the North Korean economy. 73 years ago, on June 25, 1950, South Korea was devastated by North Korea's invasion to communize South Korea, but looking at the video 50 years ago, our country, Korea, and South Korea have grown and developed a lot as a country that can help foreign countries. I'm thinking Thank you for uploading a valuable historical video from the 1970s. Well done.☕️🕊👍.

🤦‍♀🤢😵💩🤡Appalling, all that!....Get it ON STAIGHT>> ALL of Korea was devastated by USA war crimes/aggression AND the criminal air bombing campaign~bloodthirsty sociopaths like Gen. Curtis Lemay are/were your TRUE enemy & NOT Kim Il~Sung, who was simply standing up courageously to traitors & US stooges/ shills like Rhee Syngman, and other fmr. Japanese collaborators, who couldn't give a toss about negotiating sincerely & with a noble extended hand on behalf of the Korean people and their unity; it was Kim Il~Sung who stood up proudly for Korean unity and independence, against the foreign occupiers & their malignant tools.

Excuse me sir! Do you have anything on Tehran during the same era? A little bird said he had lived around the revolution or something and escaped with his parents and moved to France. Later I met him in L.A. But point is, whether is true or not, how did Tehran looked like back then. (I mean before someone covered them to get less negroe or brown skin. Foolish idea. But still. 😅)

It is surprising that half a century ago Koreans wore Western clothes. I thought it was still mostly Hanbok.

Most people started western clothes at around 1910 when Japan annexed Korea. Especially males. Females mostly wore traditional dress but since about 1930s younger females started to wear western dresses more and more. But by the sixties; even older females wore western dresses more often.

At that time, Japan was the only developed country in Asia. The next richest countries after Japan were the Philippines, Iran, and Singapore. Hong Kong was excluded as it was part of the United Kingdom.

South Korea 50 years ago was poor but they were having x6 mlre children so the explanation and excuses of femminsts and young koreans of why the birth rate is low is pure BS.
