1. Nalangu (Before the wedding, at the bride and groom's respective houses, all the relatives gather and smear them with nalangu paste - which is a mixture of flour and turmeric powder. This is done to cleanse their skin so that it radiates with a natural glow at the wedding)
2. Wedding (Santhome Cathedral, Chennai, India)
3. Palum Pazhamum (After the wedding the bride is taken to the groom's house where his relatives give them both Palum pazhamum and Blessings)

Basically they are converted Christian, they can't avoid all practices even though they are Christian. All rituals are it's in the blood and heritage.

It's an Christian wedding wearing saree or White dress is upto the couple. Because it's their wedding . And as a Christian I dont find anything wrong here. Marriage is all about love and memories .
