Thanks for a walk down memory lane. Custer State Park, buffaloes, and Sylvan Lake are incredible and such a surprise for the middle of nowhere. We stopped there a few years back on the way to Colorado. Our nature highlight was a coyote grabbing a prairie dog for breakfast!

I live in South Dakota. I can tell you more. There is gaming town called Deadwood. That is where Wild Bill lived and was killed. We have big caves like wind cave national park. In Rapid City, we have plenty of sites. If you want a tropical island feel, come to Watiki Water Park. We have an air and space museum and a Air force base in Box Elder. It is call Ellsworth Air Force base. In Mitchell, they have the World's only corn palace

Nice video ! I’ve been there 2 years ago in the summer 🥵Really beautiful park and underestimated…the first European and settlers in the early 19´ were french and because it’s a very rough and wild place they called it « les mauvaises terres » literally translated in « bad lands »….I came from France to visit this park 😉! we also had strong storms very frightening….Black Hills very beautiful too, place of the wild and Bisons and place were they filmed the movie with Kevin Costner « danse avec les loups » or « dance with the wolves »…

Toshlito very good question! We wish we had a 23 or 25’ trailer. Mainly because of the bed layout. Collette has to climb over me to get out of bed. It’s fine for a short weekend trip but since we’re in it full time it is a little annoying. The other thing is the need for solar. We’re going to put out a video in a few weeks discussing the need for some solar panels. If you get a base model airstream it’s designed to be plugged in most of the time. If you get a few solar panels it will give you much more flexibility.

Roamaroo. Good to hear, we r actually looking at a 27 because of the bed situation. Keep up the good work on the videos, we really enjoy watching them. Meant to ask you one other question about Needles highway in SD, did you realize that the 3 tunnels are all pointing at Mount Rushmore? If you drive through and don’t see it, turnaround once you go through the tunnel and you will see Mount Rushmore. Little geography fact most people don’t know.
