Agreed. They never became frantic, were down in the first, kept their pace and eventually left Iowa in the dust. So many weapons.

Im a huge South Carolina fan and I'm glad they won but I blame the Iowa coach for just letting Clark take all of those dumb forced shots down the stretch if I was a teammate I would be pissed I bet some of those parents are

@@anthonytaylor7928 that’s been Iowa offense since Clark hit the limelight. She doesn’t play defense. All her energy is spent on offense. SC bench outscored Iowa bench 37-0 the same as their 37-0 wins and loss record. Iowa coach and fans don’t know basketball is a team game. The best player is supposed to make the players surrounding them better. Getting them involved in the beginning of the game. The referees helped them beat SC last year.

You have to depend on the other players on the team.. Clark shooting all those deep three pointers weren't going to cut it.congrats SC I'm so glad you'll win.

So true. Clark also turned the ball over 4 times and looked lost on defense at times. She’s a good long range shooter, that’s about it.

Caitlin is a good offense player when she is allowed to to push off with her shoulder and sometimes with the ball. Should be an offensive foul. Most good players can score 30 points a game if allowed to30 times. This is a team sport , you can get yours and your team lose.. This is still AMERICA.

My thing is the announcers need to be less obvious on who they are rooting for.

Yeah, U Conn got ghosted by the officiating and when Caitlin pushed off in the 1st quarter I thought the officiating was going to fix this game but S Carolina was too deep and basically wore Iowa down, plus totally controlled the paint.

well as the old saying goes no one person can win a team sport game,it takes a team effort to win,and so says of catlin clark.before micheal jordon could win a championship game,he was the only scorer on the bulls,until they got all those players to support him,and we all know what happened after that.catlin clark did not have that consistance support through out the whole tournament.their bench was zero points to the gamecocks thirty seven points.with that said her legacy will be forever remembered as the player who change the game in breaking all those records.maybe in the wnba she will be more successful in winning a championship if she has a supporting cast who can help her.
