Phenomenal achievement, no doubt. He hasn't been to the tournament since, though, and he wouldn't have made it this past year if there were one. How long before Gamecocks' fans grow impatient?

I was there it was was absolutely crazy when south Carolina I was staying after the unc vs Arkansas game where I nearly had a heart attack it is awesome going to a march madness game

Get outta here. UNC fans trying to hog the limelight again. I so wish South Carolina had a chance to whip y'all in the national championship. If Sindarius hadn't gotten sick before the final four appearance, Ol' Roy would have dad-gummed about a friggin' Thornwell giving his youngsters a blankety-blank lesson for 40 minutes

I was at both this game and the UNC vs Arkansas right before it, and I destroyed my voice. Both teams that I wanted to win won. I am a USC fan.

First meeting between Frank Martin and Coach K since November 2010 (Kansas State vs. then #1 Duke - CBE Hall Of Fame Classic in Kansas City). Before 2017, Martin previously made the Elite 8 losing to eventual runner up Butler (2010).

Every time i miss more march :(

The thing about this game is that there was no indication at halftime of what was about to happen. Duke was up 7, Carolina had only scored 23 points and you figured the Blue Devils would open up a lead, coast in the second half and win by 10-15 points like they usually did in the second round of the tournament. The Gamecocks exploding for 65 points in the second half and running away with the game was not on anyone's bingo card.

This game made me ill. I lived in SC at the time.

this duke team, save tatum and jefferson, was so soft, they reacted to every littel thing that didn't go their way, jackson and kennard and allen take themselves out of so many possessions because they are still complaining about how physical carolina was with them at the other end

Does the NCAA realize how big of a deal the 2024 NCAA Championship game will be since it will be taking place during the April 8, 2024 Eclipse?
