The first time I heard this song, I was around 11 or 12 yrs. old, at 7am doing the daily routine of cleaning the school grounds during elementary school days after flag ceremony, with this song being played on the radio as a national opm hit, as the sun was shining so bright, reminding us of a new day at school to face. Now, I'm 29, turning 30 and is listening to this song 19 years after here in KZread, while counting down the days to when I'll be flying to Japan for a new job and a new life. This song reminds me of the same person that I am, I used to be, and the person I will be.. that no matter where I go and where I'm at in my life, I'll always be reminded of my past and of my victories, to be reminded that if I lose and fall down, there's always hope and a chance to get up and win again. Depression set in this is the only song a played all day over and over until i relaxed myself. When people disappoints you, youre hurt, and overall feels like the world is against you. This song will make you feel better. For me this is God singing for me though most of the people sings it for their gf or bf. For me this song is inspirational. My husband was clinically diagnosed with Anxiety last 2017, it was tough. And this song helped him a lot. 🙂 There were nights when he can't sleep, magigising ako in the middle of the night and I saw him na naka tutok sa ceiling. But I needed to be strong for him, for our family. We asked for a professional help back then and fortunately they were able to do so. Ngayon okay na xa, pero may times parin na nag a-attack yung anxiety because it will never go away, they are overthinkers, you just have to learn how manage it, calm yourself and do distracting activities para di lumala. Strong family support is a must. If anyone of you here knows someone who's having a hard time,.pls reach out to them. Listen to them, and just be there. You just don't know how it means to them. 🙂

It was summer of 2004, nagwo-work pa ako sa Jollibee. Araw-araw itong tinutugtog noon sa Jollibee. Nagandahan ako. Akala ko, foreigner ang kumanta dahil that time bagong released lang ito. So, tinanong ko yung kasamahan kong crew. Tinanong ko kung sino ang kumanta. Today is our 3rd anniversary. In a relationship who accepted my past and my children. We both raised our children(he is not the biological father). We are still both in college now but this will be our last year, and we are also working for our children. I can't believe i found him. This was my younger brother’s favourite song. Twelve months ago, I lost him. He was my strength. He was my saviour. Now, he’s already my angel. He’s got a rare condition that has no cure. Not even a chemotherapy can do anything about it. So it’s hard knowing that we wanted to fight but we cannot, because we couldn’t. I was studying overseas, so I didn't get to speak to him nor hug him one last time before he died. For years, I was away from home, from him-then the moment I got back, it’s too late. There was a time I questioned God why it has to be him. When he died, my world stopped spinning. And now, even though it’s spinning again, it's very slow. So slow I think I’d go crazy. This song... we used to listen and sing it together cause it’s so positive. But now it hits differently. I think this is also why he told me he liked this song. So this will remind me of him. Everything about this speaks out for what he feels and what HE wanted me to feel. Now, I’d still listen to this from time to time but with every lyrics, I’m thinking that it’s my brother’s way of telling me to stay strong even though he’s not here anymore. Reminiscing my high school days back in 2005 suddenly i remember this song being played during our Junior's Ball night. Wish i could bring back the time. Missin my high school friends... I wish them all well...😢
