I had some friends who went to SA because of the hype, but they didn't make it and wasted a lot of time there. From what they told me, there are very few jobs and Australians are always the first option, and it is very difficult to make the hours a week as it is a very quiet city.

its the best when it comes to 190 and 491 migration. if you graduate from SA and qualify in a good occupation you WILL get invited. its almost like a guarantee. getting a job is harder but worth it for the great state migration system.

Beware of South Australia. It has been founded on British migration......and it shows! They are unable to replace their own young people fleeing this state!

You are right, Lot 14 is still under construction. Not much to expect in a year or 2.

I reckon you missed the interesting part of this DAMA thing, and that is in terms of age restriction. If someone who is past 45 years of age, going through TSS 482 visa doesn't offer you any chances at all in transitioning to permanent residency through 186. With DAMA, you still have room with the age concessions.
