    I have been using this shotgun almost exclusively for a few years and it has never jammed on me. It's way more fun than an AK, Desert Eagle or a Sniper, especially in close quarters like Nuke but I got some decent snipes with it at medium range on Dust as well.

    You're not kidding about South Africa making some really awesome weapons. The Neopup is awesome and it's tragic that it hasn't caught on like it deserved to. You should check out Forgotten Weapons if you haven't, he covers a the best (and worst) South African weapons pretty regularly. He actually got to demo an awesome machine gun version of the Neopup a few months ago that's in active development. I'd describe modern South African weapons as 'the highest highs, and the lowest lows.'

    Dang That's crazy, I figured Africa would be easy to get firearms since there's a lot of aggressive wildlife there. Never been there but they should encourage gun ownership an easier access. Idk how often it happens but like hippo an elephant big cat attacks would be better for you all to have easier gun access in case you have to defend yourself. I might be just ignorant about all this but do attacks from animals happen often there?

    You do not have to shot original ammo in this thing. It is very easy to reload for it. The only special item you need is a roll crimp tool that you can use with a normal power drill. Remember, the hulls are measured opened, so 2 inch is not 2 inches when finished.

  • @caseyb1346

    @caseyb1346

    I came here to say this. Shotgun reloading is the easiest reloading there is. In fact with these shells, you could just cut the crimp off of production shells, remove the shotcup/shot, put in a slightly shorter wad/shotcup, replace the shot, and recrimp. While shorter wads cause slightly higher pressure, factory loads are usually pretty under pressured to begin with.

    Few things you learn after watching a Kentucky Ballistics video: 1. T-Rexs with folding chairs are dangerous 2. Scott is the Gold-Medalist Table-Thrower 3. Scott loves .500 S&W Magnum, elephant rifles and bullets larger than most people's thumbs 4. Furbys, watermelons and eggplants are fair game 5. The simple act of cocking a gun can trigger a -jumpscare- explosion 6. Nothing is safe from the Chip-O-Matic 5000 (not even the Chip-O-Matic 5000 itself) 7. Random alarm clock ringings trigger impulsive watermelon destruction by any means neccesary 8. Scott should stay far, FAR away from chronographs 9. Jeremy Jamm will always let you know straight-up when your weapon jams EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention: It is customary to get poupon everything (including yourself)!

    If the designers weren't so "mad keen" on sticking to an Uzi SMG inspired design (that ejection port seems a bit small), they could have made it less like to jam 03:40 via making the ejection port bigger by cutting into the top plate, so it "wraps around" the receiver a bit and can tolerate shells coming out at a slight angle, rather than only perfectly at 90 degrees.

  • @neondystopian

    I remember reading about this weapon in a gun magazine (the ones made from paper, with nice pictures...), and the little i remember from the text, it WAS intended as a SHORT shotgun. They even tried, successfully, to shoot it one-handed, but mentioned that it isn´t easy and thus not recommended. Personally i think it looks a lot like the Uzi, as if someone streamlined it.

    I had one of the early import Saiga semi-auto mag-fed shotguns (3” .410 bore)… the magazines would not chamber 2 3/4” shells and in my area 3” shells in .410 were hard to find. The shorter 2 3/4” shells would nosedive in the magazine just as those tiny 12 gauge shells you tried. I took apart the magazine, using some sheet metal I made a new follower and a spacer to include a feed ramp that aligned with the follower and chamber of the barrel. I’m thinking the same process could be done to allow this 2” chambered shotgun to fit those micro shells, allowing you to plink with the cheaper shorty shells instead of trying to find more of the 2” specialty shells. The other option would be to find out the load data on the 2” shells, trim down 2 3/4” or 3” husks and simply reload 2” shells yourself… Heck, you could even try to make your own SLAP shotgun shells of your own! What could go wrong???
