i don't think "food forthought1" knows what the word *mainly* means, since whites own only 22% of total rural land, less than 50% of the local stock on the stock exchange, and blacks own 84.1% of all paid-off homes in SA and 80% of the political power as well as the majority of local (non-FDI) JSE stock. Not one of these strategic points has a white majority in SA.

@@kekeh.5696 No, we also want our cultures to be represented. She can speak whatever she wants and still learn other things. You'd need to intimidate the Indians in Phoenix before you intimidate fellow Africans who want their cultures to be recognized too. That's why I said diversity is the face of our country. You chose to feel some type of way. Bye

Just a bit of info on that: Your basic will be like $1500 only plus an allowance, depending on the company you work for. Recently there has been a lot of violence against foreign truck drivers, South African drivers claim companies prefer foreigners over them as they can pay foreigners illegal below industry-standard salaries, and don't have to conform to other labor laws like leave, Provident fund, and UIF. Something to consider!

Oprah? Really? Not true.Oprah owns a school which is not even in Pretoria. Pretoria is my City and I wish we can tell facts about it. By the way taxis are not the most affordable mode of transport, they are the most accessible and reliable. Metrorail Trains are the most affordable, but Metrorail is notorious for bad services, buses follows train with affordability, but not enough of them.

@food forthought1 It's OK to admit you know nothing about who owns what or who built what in South Africa, troll. How about you read a book about who made up two-thirds of the residents of the old V.O.C. town in the 18th century. Hilarious. Blacks own 84.1% of paid-off homes in South Africa. Then look at some of the largest commercial real estate owners in SA: www.sacorporatefund.co.za/index.php/investor-relations/shareholders-information/shareholders-information
