Extreme weather conditions in Cape Town, South Africa
Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 10 July 2024, we will start today's video with extreme weather conditions in Cape Town, South Africa. The Fish Hoek and Wynberg area is experiencing heavy rainfall, leading to flooded streets and wet roads around Kalk Bay. Then the big veld fires in the Magoebaskloof. Snow is still visible on the R354 between Sutherland and Matjiesfontein. In addition, there were strong winds and rough seas off the coast of Glencairn. We make a stop for lunch at the Post Box Café in Irene. Then, a big herd of buffalo drinking water in the Kruger National Park. Attend the Berg River Marathon from the Riviera Hotel in Velddrif. Then, we will make a stop at Cheerio Café in Magoebaskloof, and we will show you more videos from around South Africa.

Welcome to our channel, SA Today! We will try and upload a video for you every day or the third day from somewhere around South Africa (SA) where we travel. We live in the platteland but try and see as much as we can of South Africa. Join us on a journey as we explore the beauty of South Africa through daily video captures. From breathtaking landscapes to vibrant cities, we showcase the diversity and charm of our country.
Subscribe and come along for the adventure!
We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.
Also in this video, the Haute Cabriére Restaurant in Franschhoek, drive down the main road of Irene, and Leeupoort. We end the video today with a flight about to land on runway 21L at the OR Tambo International Airport and a short drive around Laaiplek in Velddrif in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Road flooding usually occurs when there is insufficient stormwater drainage or the drainage systems on the roads are clogged with dirt.

Cape Town 😢😢
That fire is very pretty in the night sky🤭
There is a reason why the explorers named this place Cape of Storms. I guess those people who built their shacks on flood plains skipped history and geography class

@RlingCap-uk6rk still doesn't give people the right to steal land that never belonged to them in the first place. Why should we reward thievery? Next time a politician is in the news for corruption, just sit their and be quiet. We've been rewarding corruption in this country for far too long
