I've been to Africa too, and seeing animals in the wild fills you up with love sooooo much, you want to save them all from poachers, hunters, slaughterhouses. There's just so much love, peace and innocence about them. All the animals. All. That's why I'm stopped eating them

I am from South Africa. Lived here all my life. Seen more wild animals than you can every dream. Been on game drives hundreds of times. Believe me. I have more respect for animal than most. I eat animals and you should too.

I discovered your channel this weekend and have literally been binge watching. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and my childhood house was in Simon’s Town, which is where boulders beach is. Your reactions to the safari and boulders made me realize how I take for granted my home sometimes. I’m glad you enjoyed South Africa, it’s an amazing place, hope you can come back again one day and bring your little Perkins produce to see the baby elephants and penguins. On a side note, thank you so much for sharing you infertility journey. I have also been struggling with infertility for 3 years now and your video series have been so informative and inspiring.

When Desi gets emotional, I get emotional. 😭 halfway through the video, and I’ve loved every second so far!

I was just in Thailand and saw elephants there for the first time in my life and it was the best experience of my life. I can imagine how incredible this trip was for you two! Ok well, after watching this i dont wanna watch any other YT video. Nothing can top this vlog, well maybe when you adopt Elefante. Thank you Desi and Steven for sharing this amazing experience with us, every single second of this video was simply amazing. 💜

This was amazing, I grew up in Kenya for 11 years of my life and going on safaris and camping in wildlife were things my family and I did on the weekends! I WISH I had the gear to capture some of the incredible once in a lifetime moments back then, but since I've moved back to the US watching this just made me fell like I was back at home. Desi could not have explained it better, being in an environment so simple makes all of the clutter and buildup in your life seem so small. If anyone has the opportunity to travel I wouldn't recommend Africa enough, its like no other continent on earth and you leave with FAR more than just pictures. This was beautiful, you guys did an AMAZING job putting it together!

The camera quality gives me the chills!! But I’m sure it makes NO justice on the beautiful animals... I cried , I laughed, and you guys made me dream bigger 💕💕

You guys are so so lucky to have seen African Wild Dog! They are so rare and so endangered. We went to Kruger Park last year for a family trip as my parents are from SA and saw some Wild Dog; they had not seen wild dog in all their 30 years of going into the bush. My mum cried when we saw them. Much love from New Zealand xx

Tell me why I was crying almost this whole video. Ugh makes me want to take a trip. And to think I am actually South African and have family there and take for granted the beauty... ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING.

Hey Desi and Steven, this is my first time writing a comment on KZread although I watched your videos before and all of them are awesome but this one.. it truly inspired, moved and touched me right in my heart and soul.. the first night me and my boyfriend met (who is also my soul mate and I can't wait to marry him) he called me' ''my little elephant'' (it may not sound cute in English but most definitely does in my language haha) and since then our dream is to visit Africa and see the elephants so seeing this video made me cry the whole time, happy tears of course and I only wish I can one day experience what you guys did.
