In the absence of this channel, giving us authentic African American exposure, our perception of African American would have only been limited to the images of Rihanna / Beyonce (slay Queens) and Lil Wayne types of blacks. This channel has exposed us to authentic people like our own parents and siblings and it is beautiful.. The ladies are motherly and conservatives like most of our mothers and this is just beautiful in my eyes

It’s because Hollywood, assigned specific stereotypes for each group in America. Hispanic-Americans are portrayed as feisty and wild. Black Americans men are portrayed as gangsters and Black American women are portrayed as either angry or over sexualized.
I know there's gonna be that viewer rolling their eyes..saying south africa is not real africa..and visiting nice areas in south africa is not actually seeing the real south africa 🤣🤣🤣 i used to get frustrated when i read those comments but now i realized that some people are going through alot these days ..all they can do is to project the negativity they dealing with in their lives..thank you @theRealSouthAfrica for continuing giving those nay sayers chestpains

😂😅like Africa should be synonymous to poverty and dusty roads....that is pathetic!
I'm here for the dukes. This is so culturally significant. It's amazing to see we share similar values. 🎉.. and the ladies are classy and gorgeous
What beautiful destination 🇿🇦🙌🏿
I don't know why I find it hard to believe these are Americans. For me, they look like you can bump into them on the streets of SOWETO or Midrand.

Someone said African Americans are the chameleon’s of the African diaspora. He can definitely tell when someone is from Zimbabwe or from Haiti, but he said African Americans have the ability to look like any group in Africa.

shockingly so I mean the similarity is such a culture shock. Im beginning to wonder what the slave castle was doing in Cape Town. In my Surname history 1800 during the Nhlapo civil war when the weaker brother fled to Lesoto they were intercepted by British troop that captured the children and sold them. Ukuthi where we dont know.

@@UMLAZIKAZI there are a small amount of African Americans who do dna ancestry tests and it comes up as southern Bantu and then when they read the fine print, it says - primary taken from South African - Soweto

That’s sweet. A friend of a friend visited South Africa before Covid and said someone told her welcome home at the airport and she cried 🥲😊
Thank you Buti Mark for showcasing my homeland with class and dignity!
It's hard to leave Durban even for us Joburgers 😂
“ 'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols." Says the God if Isreal, our very own GOD🫢🤭
I always see grandparents in this show.

Please talk to the officials about lessoning the red tape for black African descendants to return and gain extended time on our mother land. We should get preference over other foreign tourists.
