Wow, that is an entertaining video - great song! Excellent as always, Pete. Thanks so much for digging into our Delay pedal. Nice to see you experimenting with the Neuro App - that filter sweep on the Noise Tape delay sounded way cool! Also love the Brian May approach with the long delays - "Brighton Rock!!"

I’m going to buy this pedal because of this demo. Unfortunately I watched 2 others before this one and they both were a turn-off, one opened up demonstrating an unusual exaggerated modulation effect, as unmusical as it gets, on the other, demonstrators didnt know which parameter to turn to increase the desired effect. And they both left out the important information I wanted to know. Thanks Peter Thorn, great job.

What I like about your videos is that - in the editing - it clearly shows that you are not doing them within 30 minutes or so. You record separately, maybe over a day or two, showing that you have the time to reflect, giving you the necessary space to be creative and come up with relevant parts to demonstrate.

curaugaard makes an interesting distinction; that the video editing in many of Pete's videos is excellent. Pete have you made a video discussing the software, camera's, lighting etc? If not I think a lot of us would enjoy your perspectives. Otherwise I love your compositions;-)...

Great point. I imagine many of us have noticed that we come up with very fitting parts when our brains have a chance to chew on the music away from any instrument - like when lying in bed at night or waking in the morning.

Pete, this is a superb review on a fantastic pedal. Your reviews are entertaining, thorough, and informative, besides being a pleasure to listen to. I just picked my Nemesis a month and am in love with it. I feel like I've barely hit the tip of the iceberg, as to how much you can customize the sound out of this one. It's so incredibly flexible, it's unreal; and the tone is so beautiful. Worth every penny. Thank you for your reviews. They're always greatly appreciated!

Me as well! I was really stoked the editing depth via the USB.. it made me think wow - this is basically like a Lexicon Delay Unit, but more customizable and in guitar pedal format.. then I found out after that, the ins and outs also accept LINE level no prob... so if you have a spare 2 extra outs from your DAW... then you basically do have a stereo Delay 24 bit engine with NO NEED for buying 2 REAMP and 2 DI Boxes, right?! I'm still setting my studio up, but I can't wait to really put that into practice!

I agree, but we'll go with the solipsistic version so I get to be guitar god too! lol.. But seriously I think it's a match of clean, level headed know how combined with the touch, but while adding a sense of soaring joy and freedom between the bars and phrases... it's just comes down to something magical about his playing.. but with the added experience and intuition for the technical realm... it's stellar to have a standard like this to see how to help improve or just take inspiration from you know... Idk of anyone who's better or more well rounded or nicer than Pete Thorn he really shows a level of fitness and style that it's delimiting to watch.. amazing how I seem to improve instantly afterwards!

Wow what a performance. It's easy to tell by the varying degrees of daylight throughout the intro that you spent a long time crafting this demonstration. Really, all I can offer is my modest thanks, but you've again schooled me in how to better utilize my own equipment AND you provided plenty of musical inspiration to keep me practising. I sometimes get bummed out by the surplus of technology and all the distractions that come with it, but it's truly a golden age for guitarists.

GREAT playing and demo mann. Very informative. And I JUST happen to be looking for a delay as I write this. You CANNOT believe how many people with "demo" (term used loosely) clips ( and delay demo-ers are the WORST offenders) here on YT that think to show the sounds of the pedal, that you have to sweep the knobs RIGHT PAST any sweet spot and end up with the knob all the way up and with an annoying sound so over the top that no player worth his salt would EVER use. Not that many people here doing gear demos that know how to show what the gear sounds like when used to its full potential and the effect is dialed in at the level that a smart player would actually use. OY!! You and Mr Tubbs are the best.

Looks like a really good studio tool. But the link in the description goes to a music licensing platform website!

Hi Pete - Ordered one based on your demo. This is probably pushing it but any chance of sharing some of your settings on the delays? I realize the amp setup will be different and, ahem, I don't play anything like you, but love a couple of the sounds. Mine will arrive tomorrow. Best and thanks for your great demos. Rick
