This is a dream EQ pedal. Yeah I guess I would like one without menu diving but it’s simply impossible to get this versatility without it. I wanted a Wampler EQualizer but this looks better in every way

Get one of these and a Morningstar MC3 midi controller with an expression pedal. Use it to switch guitars, eq settings and expression control with one tap or a double tap on the MC3. Tap another footswitch and tremelo the EQ with speed control on the expression pedal. Hit another and go Wah Wah eq. Badass. Add in a DECO v2 and let the fun begin. I could get by with just that for a pedal board., under a thousand bucks. But I'd still want a different fuzz on both guitars before they switched at the EQ2. With midi, the EQ2 is a powerful tool, I got 2, one for each board. Software is a breeze to use like the MC3 is. This is the way.

Was going to buy the Boss EQ-200...but this totally smokes it in every way...

YUP! I almost made that mistake too!

Were you using the SA expression pedal or a different exp pedal to do the wah sweeps? I am trying to figure out what exp pedal I would be able to use with the 3.5mm trrs control input that the EQ2 has.

@@UTAH100 I got the ehx dual expression pedal. It has the feature to invert the signal as well change where the signal comes off of the cable tip. Between the two controls you are able to make it work as a wah or volume control perfectly! Much cheaper than the SA expression pedal. If you’re buying the EQ2 new it comes with the right cable too!

How do you get it to do the WAH effect? If I hit preset 4, will that get me into the tuner faster? I am between this and the Empress Deluxe. This one is less easy to edit on the fly BUT has stereo, presets and a footswitch option which would be amazing to toggle two EQ's in a song so it seems more versatille by a long shot...and it's much less expensive. It is digital and not true bypass so maybe more noise than the Empress? Am I missing anything?

How does the Wah compare to standalone Wah pedals ?

Well, it’s a wah type effect inside primarily an EQ. It’s only going to be so good. You heard it, right? Not quite a cure for the wah itch but it’ll do the band-aid thing.

Can anyone chime in I'm torn between this or the boss eq-200 anyone who owns one I'd love to know your opinion thx

@@jonathanfrieze8497 I went with something difference: Walrus Audio EB-10. You got 4 presets and can tweak the low, mid, hi. Its not the same as these EQ pedals but it is what I use now. I find it more easy to use because its the same as tweaking an amp. I see it as a preamp.
