In this video, ARC's Jeff Poggi (President and CEO), Dave Gordon (Brand Ambassador), and Warren Gehl (Sonic Development Engineer) talk about the company's past, present, and future, as well as how they design and hand-make all of their products -- from 1970 to today.

I have a LS10 D240 MKII and a Ref CD9, they bested my earlier gear by Esoteric and PassLabs by a long margin. I’m very glad to have them in my system.

A big fans of your Products and being your customer since 1990s. Currently, I am using power tube vs115 and thinking of changing to 160s. Keep up the good work 👍🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽

Beautiful equipment. I believe in buying quality. I’m still listening to a Marantz 2325, and Klipsch speakers over 30 years. Both quality as proof is their Performance Still Today !

Nice video about a proud bunch of people make something special in the US. I do recommend their Service Department also especially Greg Christensen who's always very generous when I ask questions about vintage AR products (D160, D250 ..)which I'm interested in. Service is just as important as the product itself.

Fire the person who decided "everyone quickly put on a white Audio Research t-shirt before they start filming--doesn't matter if it's too long or you wear it over a dress shirt".

Doing things like you did in the 70's is not logical. Move forward, advance, improve processes, 1970 wasn't a good decade for making stuff, automated, robots are more consistent and reliable...wonder why cell phones do what they do in tiny packs, Technology advancements, not 70's technology

Thats fine for high volume low price products but remember these are low volume very expensive products, this type of assembly is fine for them.A cell phone company may sell more cell phones in one day than this company makes in an entire year.

@@hifijohn inefficient..vw car factory can make 1000S of cars a day...expensive products with a lot more stuff in them goings-on ..tv have a lot more goingvon..can stamp them out thousands a day...audio electronics is pretty much real basic...all these company's are consolidating trying to survive....its a fading industry...just like Amazon changed everything...fixing an obsolete 48 year old consumer product is just dumb

@@DJust-bv1sb Inefficient, and outmoded mfgs methods, plain and simple. I have 5 AR pieces, they are no better than lots of other stuff, they work fine, but the prices could be a lot lower if they joined the 21st century in making stuff. just like their cousin McIntosh, outmoded processes, that are doomed. VW cranks out 1500 electric vehicles now in one factory of over 100, thousands of vehicles a day around the world, lot more complex than a metal box with an audio circuit, 21st century, join it or disappear..cell phones have so much technology, they stamp em out like candy bars, super reliable, cus they use modern methods to produce em....
