Yeah, it makes no sense. Especially because the legacy editions were pretty much a copy of Java, and those are on not so powerful consoles So there’s no excuse for this big of a difference

Yea, as a bedrock player, this is the one difference I really care about. When you submerge in water it really FEELS like you submerged, and the same can be said when you come out too

The throwing sound is so much better on Bedrock. On Java, it stays the same pitch, but on Bedrock the pitch is random. It makes the sound much less annoying.

@@JoshyRB Personally bows feel the same, the only difference is that when I play on pc, I get more input lag from bedrock than I do from java, making aiming annoying. My pc isn't bad, but for some reason bedrock just gives me input lag and java doesn't.

I think the idea of java and bedrock is terrible idea because there are a lot of people saying java is better or bedrock is better so they fight each other’s and that’s bad so I hope minecraft will be a single game with no java and bedrock only 1 version for everyone

I just wish the door sounds in bedrock weren’t random. I like having one sound for opening and one for closing. I like being able to associate the sound a door makes with its action; just like with the chest sounds.

The only thing I hate about bedrock audio is that all sounds have far less range Listen to the creeper, it's so much quieter on bedrock yet not too far away But if you get close then it's super loud, hopefully mojang fixes this

most sounds on bedrock for whatever reason don't have an attenuation distance set on them at all.

Bedrock sounds are compressed, from my experience

The Java doors actually made it into bedrock recently! Well, along with the no more infinite furnace XP again…

i think bedrock sounds are the same as legacy pocket and legacy console because is kinda like the successor

Bedrock is still Pocket Edition at it's core. It's the same program that's been tweaked since Alpha 0.1

you can also notice a parity difference in Bedrock edition. The swimming mechanic is the same, but the transitional animations are far different. They're arguably better in Java in my opinion. Not only do they look smoother but the Java animations makes it much easier to get onto land when coming up from underwater!

The nostalgia on bedrock hit me like a freight train. I’m switching back to bedrock 🔥

As a Bedrock player... I like Java's water sounds. Java door sounds are also quite neat. I do think Bedrock TnT is better, though.

Bedrock doors have been the same as Java for a while now. I do like Java’s door sound more but it’s sad they changed it.

@@star5384 java is the original. Even tho I have played bedrock which use to be pocket edition since 2011 which is 11 years back. I preferred bedrock over java cuz I grew up with it.

But now I think bedrock underwater, explode, door, trapdoor, fence gate became Java sounds
