Chris hints at something which is usually not "morally" spoken off: the label "Heavy metal"(with all its features, expensive gear etc., applies to other styles/genres as well)" and HOW it is used in the business....Granted I`m not freakin brained, wasn`t there a specific record in the late 80`s by a band called Cryptic Slaughter telling us the answer Chris tries to avoid?

I think that shirt he is wearing is the same one Mike from AIC is wearing in a video, and the same shirt one of Nirvana members was wearing in a video. I think they passed that shirt around like jeans in sisterhood of the traveling pants. Lol it's the brotherhood of the travelling shirt Seattle bands passed around for good luck. I think it's the same shirt I've seen in 4 or 5 different bands from back then. Crazy, lol, maybe I'm just crazy.

I saw these bands on this tour in Milwaukee. To this day this was the most intense show I think I ever saw. Three really great bands playing in a very small, packed venue. Bodies flying everywhere. Cornell and Patton were especially lit that night, it was the both of them on the cusp of being really, really huge bands- just months, maybe weeks away from really being all over MTV and just before Nirvana made the whole Seattle thing go insane. I especially remember Mike Patton getting on the top of one of the PA speakers and singing the theme song to a popular Nestle chocolate commercial at the time. I can't quite remember how it went, but I just remember him just riffing on all kinds of things and getting the crowd more and more lathered up like rabid dogs. It was great.

Man, what I wouldn't give to take a time machine back to this...
I like how they thought they finally got out the interview but then stopped and slowly turned around like little kids

Alex this is insane my friend. Thank you so much for posting this. I think I've seen some of the live footage but that interview intro is awesome. Funny side note. Nearly sure the shirt Chris is wearing is the one from the Hands All Over video. Added a sub and like. Thank you again.
SOUNDGARDEN rules!!! Awesome vid.

I wasn’t at this particular show, but I was at the one at Trenton City Garden in NJ that September. It was really hot in the place, and Chris complained about it, then dumped a jug of water over his head. There was a long pipe of some kind perpendicular to the stage that went out over the crowd. Chris jumped up and hung from it like a monkey. He was so athletic back then.
