​@@SoundgardenFanaticI disagree with you, I love that cover too, but Nathan's version is just much raw in terms of vocal, and it can be noticed that he had put too much tension trying to hit Cornell's notes correctly. Jaheon version is much more relaxed, it seems that he did it effortlessly.

@@szolssfgame8722 Lets just assume Nathans cover was when he wasnt just a great singer but not entirely using the best techniques to sing this song. It would be great to hear him do a cover of this song now if he has continued to sing. Im guessing the singer in this video is a Tenor as compared to Cornell as a Baritone. The Tenor can hit the high notes much easier even with the distortion. Take Sebastian Bach as example, Bach is a Tenor but has a lot of distortion as with Dio was a Tenor as well. The fact nathan could sing this and play guitar at the same time is next level

I hope you guys don't fight that either side is better. And it's okay to say he's a better vocalist than I am. I really respect him. But I want you to understand my sound correctly. As you said, it's true that tenor can hit high notes with distortion more easily, but what's more important when singing Chris Cornell and Layne Staley is about belting. Chris Cornell and Layne Staley are considered great vocalists because they don't lose their thick tones in high notes by using belting when they sound high notes. and to be honest, Belting is not an easy-to-get skill just because you're a tenor, either. It's okay to say that I can easily hit high notes just because I'm a tenor, because it's true. and it is not difficult to sound high notes if you reached a certain level. but this is way more important. after that, the main task is to create a good vocal tone at high notes by being proficient in belting or refining texture of rasp. So only one thing I want people to know is it. that I maintain a high percentage of chest voice in high notes. and I guarantee you belting is always hard work even if you're a tenor.

I don't cheat. and there is a video uploaded that only separates my vocal track. when I refinance my voice and sing it to people. Some people say, "This is impossible, I think it's been manipulated" by their own standards. On my part, comments like that are quite disgraceful. So at some point, I started uploading my vocal track separately. because of people in doubt.

Oh, Cool take. And also a brave one too. I listened already Nirvana when this came but I heard first time Soundgarden's album when Superunknown was released. I was poor teen. We loaned albums where we just possible could. That was from a girl who had been on my class two years and we never spoke anything. But as I heard she had that CD, I ask it and she said ok. So sweet. I'm 43yo these days and I still like almost all that music I listened as a teen, hundreds of bands beside. I Don't Even want to listen More covers because I cannot find better one today -I'm sure. This is maybe My favourite track from SG but there's so much cool stuff from '85 -> so I cannot say but I rarely like covers (ppl try here) from my childhood heroes. This was a good one.
