SoundEnhancer Demo by Mike Pachelli

Музыка

Here's a cool new product to improve the sound of your open back combo amp. For ore info: www.SoundEnhancer.com 800-801-8120
The Enhancer is engineered to horn load your combo amp, greatly improving its efficiency. It also reclaims the secondary sound from the rear of the speaker cabinet and redirects it forward. In addition to the tone and sound control, the Enhancer also lifts and tilts the combo amp for better sound projection and monitoring, making it the ultimate amp stand.
With the Enhancer in place, both the primary sound from the amp’s speaker and the secondary sound from the Enhancer’s port are combined. More sound energy is directed forward and the output and sound quality of any combo amp is vastly improved.
Better Monitoring
Expanded Frequency Response & Volume Level
Improved Amplifier Dynamics & Headroom
Improved Studio or Stage & Audience Volume Control

No A/B comparison, and we are listening -possibly through tiny speakers- to a mixture of a room sound, and a mic-ed sound, so it's hard to conclude anything I'm still interested though.

Wait...... that was out several years ago! I wonder if it's the same people. Over the years I'd thought about that product and wondered what happened to it. When we tried it at NAMM it seemed pretty impressive.

Hi Mike, I have to admit that strangely I had never heard of you before. I actually stumbled upon your videos. This just blew me away. I did not believe how famous you are and yet I had never discovered your music. Absolutely awesome guilt playing. I'm the same age as you. I was born in 1952 in Chateauroux, France. I'm an American living in Canada most of my life. I've been a guitar fanatic all of my life ever since I saw the Beatles. Love videos. Really incredible. I really admire your talent. I've got a lot of practice ahead of me watching your videos. Just when you start to feel you're not bad on guitar, then I come across someone like you that sets me back another 20 years. Great stuff Mike. Thanks Michael Newell from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Hi Michael - thanks for those very kind words. I appreciate it! Just remember that playing guitar is NOT a competition. I'm sure there are plenty of things that you can do on guitar that I'll never be able to do. That's the beauty of it. All one needs to do is create their own style/voice on the guitar. That's what being a great guitarist is all about!

Limiting the ventilation as it does seems like a good way to overheat a tube amp.

Sounds good, but I don’t like how it covers the tubes. No ventilation is a bad thing.

The angle might be too steep, if it was less on an angle, i would consider it.

Nifty idea, but Leo Fender beat them to it by half a century. His Showman, Bassman, Bandmaster and Tremolux piggyback amps with their closed back tone-ring cabs and tilt back legs did exactly the same thing. Also, the patented tone-ring was actually a port AROUND the speaker, so both highs and lows could be captured with just one mic. And man, did they look cool! kzread.info/dash/bejne/aoh40JaBlNKzYto.html That being said, if you already own a small combo, the SoundEnhancer could be just the thing for you.
