Soundcore X600 has too clear sibilant highs and too little bass/thump. A side-by-side comparison tilted the favor to the Soundcore motion boom plus for my wife, my two sons (14&16) and myself. All completely individually. We fiddled with the EQ on both to get the optimal sound signature out of both before comparison. YMMV of course. PS : I really wanted to like the Soundcore X600 over the Motion Plus because of form factor, size, material usage, high end audio and spatial. But unfortunately that just didn't happen.

FWIW, a recent firmware update dealt with the problem with the excessive highs.

@@Grommet2007 made it worse if you already bass distortion issues. they openly admitted to me they used my idea from my first video on the x600 to tune this firmware but have twice refused to credit me. thats the real soundcore.

@@Grommet2007 It's not just excessive highs. The X600 is a bright, harsh speaker from the bottom end to the top. My ears literally were hurting from it and the volume was at 60%. I am returning mine to Amazon.

I am clearly annoyed by a soundcore brands more of sending people free units and get free enhanced reviews. It's equal to fake reviews soundcore has lost its charm long time ago

let's be fair all companies do this hes here to give you and idea your not gonna let him think for you hope not get it or don't you get 30 days to return it if it's not what he says or up to your standards

This actually sounds better than Marshall, just a question out of the blues. The budget isn't a constraint for me. Im confused between marshall tufton and JBL 110 party box. I want to use it for roof parties and stuff. What do you recommend the most? Really appreciate your support ❤

Hi, I actually own the Marshall Tufton, and i love it. It honestly depends on what you intend on using the speaker for, but for me, Marshall got the great looks, mechanical buttons (on/off, bass and treble adjusting, and it world quite well), the battery lasts extremely long, I personally like the sound from Marshall (similarly bass focused, as JBL, but not too much, really). Overall, I love my Tufton, I rarely use it on full volume, and it can make a good party for even 50 people comfortably (musice is still loud and clear). But, if you like JBL more, or want your speaker a bit more Sturdy (Marshall is Wooden and water - resistant, NOT water-proof like JBL), go for it, you will not be disappointed!
