One thing you missed is that the Soundcore Motion 300 is actually playing in stereo with 2 separate channels. That is why the speaker has only one driver per channel. It would have to be larger to accommodate additional drivers. Granted the sound stage is limited due to the small form factor, but the channels are not being mixed into a monaural signal. So essentially this is a 2 channel unit with 15 watts per channel. The addition of LDAC and AAC are additional bonuses if your phone supports them for better sound.

Soundcore motion X300 is not bad, but I got to hear it with a proper custom EQ. Btw I got the JBL Authentics 300, nice speaker, but it's overpriced for what it offers. The JBL Xtreme 3 is louder than the Authentics 300 on battery, but once you plug it in, it's 6DB louder. Sound quality is overall pretty great since it shares a similar sound signature to the Xtreme 2 with a lot more deep bass.

Hello..how do I charge the x300. I had a motion plus and I used to charge it to the notebook, but with this one I have seen that it has 5v and 3A, could I charge it like that? Or should I buy a special charger separately?

IMO, I think the motion 300 sounds best when it’s laying flat. If portability isn’t important to you, I’d just go with the Motion X600. I have all these speakers and the X600 is my go to for sound quality.

Thanks man, very good review. If I had 1 charge 5, would it be better to get flip 6 or another charge 5 as my secondary speaker?

I'm getting a lot of conflicting opinions on the bass of the motion 300. I've seen 2 reviews that stated the motion 300 has better bass than the boss flex which is known to punch above its weight with bass. It's already been proven that the bose has a decent bit more bass than than the flip 6, so I'm not sure how the flip 6 can have more bass than the 300.

@davidbezzant9820 yep i watched. I have all three speakers now. The motion 300, flex and flow. Imo the motion 300 sounds the best. It goes a smidge deeper than than the flow and flex as long as your not cranking it. The flow is meh. Might return it. Just not clean sounding. The main advantage of the motion 300 is the stereo sound. It really makes a difference. However, the flex is shockingly good even tho it has only one driver.

In the last week I've bought the tozo a2 great Lil speaker but returned it then used my wife's flip 6 not impressed at all went bought charge 5 at target for 119 played hank jr born to boogie couldn't even barely hear piano in it so returned that today now outta curiosity bought the bogasing m5 and have had the 300 in my cart for 2 days also eying that Lil 100 but why go smaller lol but key is is I'm looking for smaller speaker to bring out into my portable fish house that gets loud and sounds good especially hanging from a corner or in center of icehouse was lookin also at the tribit stormbox pro upgraded version but now reading your comment and Goin back to videos you did and comments back and forth I'd take your word on that 300...I like a Lil bass but also wanna hear vocals amd instruments and Goin smaller otherwise I'd bring out my tribit blast or 1 of my partybox 110s but again wanna pack light as possible and still be able to jam or charge speaker if need be off my portable charger.... what would you grab alex?

You have to go to the custom EQ SETTING THIS IS WHERE THIS SPEAKER SHINES THEIR APP OFFERS A LOT MORE OPTIONS THEN JBL

Bought the motion 300 to replace my wonderboom 2, motion 300 has USB and ldac, hope it's at least as good as my wonder boom 2. We will see.

@@frandavid8 Sound much better on the motion 300, real stereo Ldac and with an equalizer on my phone, RE Equalizer on the android store the sound is even better, not the shit one anker gives you, that's pretty much useless. Speakers are all pretty much good, just some are better, be happy with the one you got.

Sony Xb43 beats them all and now mine is portable with the strategic use of zip ties, has a handle now :) Hell I can use a strap and use it like a purse :)

You should have tested it around 60% volume, since ppl tend to use them around this volume. Also at higher volumes the sound quality isn't the best.

To make things worse, he turned on bass boost at high volume. This will definitely affect the mid and highs. Especially the motion 300 with no separate tweeters.

I have both Bose Soundlink Flex and Anker motion 300. I love the sound coming from Anker motion 300 more. Bose speakers are by no means bad. But I regrett buying Bose speakers because they are very expensive. I should not have bought them and invest the money in the stock market for my retirement.

The soundcore sounded like Mud versus the JBL’s. The Charge 5 won this comparison

For double the price, JBL Charge 5 sounds twice as good as the Motion 300. Even the Flip 6 sounds a lot better.

jbl is far auperior ... dont waste your money on a generic speaker

The JBL sounds bright and open. the soundcore sounds muddy
