Px7 S2e was the most pleasant for my ears

I’m still rocking a set of the original PX7s. To this day, they remain amazing! 😊

Huge difference between s2 and the other two, while the s2e and px8 sounds almost the same

*Listened to this on my Px7 S2’s*

I've used both the Px8 and S2e. To my ears the px7 s2e is alot more lean and sharp while the px8 is more emersive with more mid bass that gives a great warmth and excitement to your music

Which would you recommend if say the price difference is 50euros in favor of the px7 s2e?

@championxxlNL if you listen to all sorts of music go for Px8, if you listen to mainly jazz or more vocals forward go for S2e. Another thing to take into consideration is the materials, because the Px8 has a better build quality with aluminum and genuine nappa leather. Personally I'd go for the Px8 because I want the best, but if you feel that the S2e is good enough for your day to day use then jst go for the S2e.

Whys the difference so small? In germany the s2e are around 300 and the px8 around 500€.​@@championxxlNL

​@@serrael-182This video doesn't show big deference between px7s2e and px8. I listened both and found, that Px72e has boosted low and highs frequencies. It sounds fun. Px8 sounds more neutral and natural.

the px 8 and px7 S2e dont sound super different so i would get the px 7 S2e just because of the price difference but ofc the px8 sound better

You need to get better headphones😂😂😂. The Px8 sounded like a 699 dollars headphone, as soon as the sound of the px7 s2e came in, the whole thing changed drastically, sound became less full. You need new headphones

@@TomPaulmann Hahaha, You would not get them because they are expensive and you have the overpriced SONY XM5 lol. Sennheiser momentum 4 or px7 s2e are way better in sound quality department, With sony you pay for features and ANC

Nice testing. I definitely hear the difference between the top tier and the last one. The first and second sound pretty similar.

PX8 are king but the PX7 S2E sound very good just doesn't have that extra thump PX8 has

Wanna get all the features of the px8 for half the price but you don't need the premium build quality? Get the Sennheiser momentum 4.

Px8 and px7 s2e sound pretty much the same. No point spending an extra 300.

You need better headphones to hear them on then, there is a huge difference, PX8 Is warmer, has richer sound, px7s2e is more V shaped, more sparkle, less organic for the lack of better words. And the PX8 feels more spacious, the s2e feels more cramped, has less wide of a soundstage presentation.

Yes the px8 sound the best, but the s2e is closer to the px8 than to the s2.

Big difference between S2 and S2e. Far better the S2e but too close to PX8, excepting for some almost indistinguishable mid richness. By the way, I'm listening from a wired B&W P7 plugged to a Mac, so despite the various A to D to A conversions, the comparison I think gives a good feedback

Feels like the PX8s have a little more bass than the PX7 S2Es, while the baseline PX7 just sound tinny

These test makes no sense

px8 folds.
