To the people citing the original Simon and Garfunkel version, there were no pianos or orchestra in that one. This the Disturbed cover as stated in the title.

This gave me goosebumps, what a beautiful song and cover of a cover. 💜

if you put it in 1.25 speed it sounds kinda sad. and honestly in my opinion the most emotional song from disturbed

@@KriminalKroniK ok?? I never said it was good. Just sharing my personal experience. Youre acting like nightcore was some delicate equation, and its not. Its literally just speeding it up and raising the pitch. It doesn't matter if the video was "good" or "bad," because that literally doesn't fucking matter with what 12 year old me was trying to say.

All the nightcores of this song I've listened to seem to make it significantly more haunting, I love it

great job! I personally find this more touching than the original. Keep up the good work!

All they've done is speed up the Disturbed cover of the Simon and Garfunkel's "The Sound Of Silence". No big deal. If you slow down the music by 10 percent you can clearly see that it's the Disturbed cover.

+Grace Clark Disturbed's was very good, but the beauty of the original was it's simplicity. It didn't need to be dramatic to convey it's message. It's not really a sad song, but I see how it could be interpreted as so. I love both versions, (although nothing beats Paul and Art's harmony imo)

Tyler Perry, with respect to your opinion, the simplicity of the original was exactly what i disliked about it. It was bland, completely uninspiring. Disturbed's version makes me sing along with them, its that moving. Sometimes remixes are better then the original i think.
