For a quick video "without breaking the bank" it was petty good but in no way spot on. Also, to get that it required experience and knowledge. You can't just go buy that shit and also get somewhere near. So good job from them but it just wasnt it. Hence them being Radiohead :D
I love how they picked the telecaster plus without realising that it was the perfect guitar😂
@ilitomili5554

That wasn't a telecaster plus, it was the modern player version. The main difference between Jonny's Tele and any other one is the lace sensor pickups, which has been discontinued since 1995.

Let's start by giving some cred to both of these guys for their outstanding musicianship. The quality of their playing and musical insight is awe inspiring. Second, their technical knowledge is beyond impressive. It's so useful to see what different combinations of instruments, pedals and amps can achieve - such a great way to sell gear by showing what it actually does!
Knowing Jonny's rig quite well, I'm so impressed how you got the tones bang-on from the gear you used. Probably your most accurate Sounds Like yet! Awesome playing too

Big fan of Radiohead here. You guys were amazing! Just found your channel and you've got yourselves yet one more subscriber.
I really like these videos and appreciate the creativity Matt & Rabea bring to their rigs. That said, the Boss GT-1 seen here could almost certainly do any and all sounds that you could want... modulations, delays, reverbs, dirt, amp models and so on. It's the latest toy in my collection - I got it essentially on the first day it was available in Canada - and I really like it.
yall did an incredible job! one of yalls best sounds likes. so much attention to detail

Loving all the videos, especially the back to back pumpkins and Radiohead. Sounds like Modest Mouse maybe? Isaac has a very specific guitar, so I think it would be interesting to see what you guys come up with
Eyyy they finally did it! You guys actually did great with this, pretty damn close for the amount of money you had. Also that iron lung was just amazing
This is your best video IMO. As always a lot of great gear tips. Your David Gilmour and Tool videos are awesome too. Keep up the great work!
ITS HERE
** I would love to see a 'Sounds like X by using a computer' episode / series ** Most of us aren't going to buy a particular pedal for one part of a song, even if it is cheap so having a computer and exploring affordable guitar amp effect software installed would be great for us beginners who just play at home and want to strum along to a wide variety of songs to keep things interesting. I know this series is ultimately designed to promote the shop but you guys sell software too as well as computers and peripherals. Anyway, as always - great episode. I love watching these shows. As for a band suggestion: Despite being tech savvy I like old school so ... Sounds Like The Cars? Keep up the great work Peace. Out.

I dont know if thats possible. He used an external unit, a mutronics mutator, that would drive the signal random and crazy. Normally, at a live situation you would go crazy with tape echo pedals and a whammy, but if you want something thats close, you would have to get a step sequencer and put it at full speed. I think ehx have something like that. This guitar moment its similar to Whole Lotta Love before Page's solo, you just have to go trippy and crazy. You have the freedom to do whatever you want. I love this kind of moments because of that.

Absolute virtuoso performance on this one, guys! The head of the radio is a really tough one. It paid off for you to wait on this one until you built up your scholarship and quiver. You were then able to deliver masterfully. Brah. Vo. Brah.

Cover-band challenge: sound like 10 completely different bands without busting the bank. One guitar, one amp, and, say, no more than three pedals. Possible starting point: Squier HSS Strat, Boss Katana 100. Plenty of cash left over for one or two multi-effects pedals, plus something a little more specialised.
