For a quick video "without breaking the bank" it was petty good but in no way spot on. Also, to get that it required experience and knowledge. You can't just go buy that shit and also get somewhere near. So good job from them but it just wasnt it. Hence them being Radiohead :D

Second, their technical knowledge is beyond impressive. It's so useful to see what different combinations of instruments, pedals and amps can achieve - such a great way to sell gear by showing what it actually does!

** I would love to see a 'Sounds like X by using a computer' episode / series ** Most of us aren't going to buy a particular pedal for one part of a song, even if it is cheap so having a computer and exploring affordable guitar amp effect software installed would be great for us beginners who just play at home and want to strum along to a wide variety of songs to keep things interesting. I know this series is ultimately designed to promote the shop but you guys sell software too as well as computers and peripherals. Anyway, as always - great episode. I love watching these shows. As for a band suggestion: Despite being tech savvy I like old school so ... Sounds Like The Cars? Keep up the great work Peace. Out.

Sounds probable, though I hope they would go with Humbuckers if they do Mick Jones, as he was mostly using humbuckers from Gimme 'Em Enough Rope onwards in his Les Paul Custom.

I just made the loudest scream in the fucking world when i saw this notification Rabea, i love you to death!!! now let's get some Mac Demarco soundlike or Devin Townsend or maybe even Megadeth's Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman my opinions: You - Close but just slightly not perfect so 8/10 Bodysnatchers - It's supposed to be Thom Yorke's part but i'll let you off cos it was close so 10/10 No Surprises - sounded pretty close but i think the other one was a bit more rounded so 9/10 My Iron Lung - this one was nail on the head! 10/10 Subterranean Homesick Alien - I don't listen to this song much but i think it's close so 9/10 Just - i thought both parts were spectacular and sounded 100% so this is a definate 10/10 Paranoid Android first solo - That's bang on Jonny Greenwood! 11/10 next time do Jonny's insanely challenging 2nd solo in Paranoid Android with heavy phase, envelope filter and more crap if you do by busting the bank

I dont know if thats possible. He used an external unit, a mutronics mutator, that would drive the signal random and crazy. Normally, at a live situation you would go crazy with tape echo pedals and a whammy, but if you want something thats close, you would have to get a step sequencer and put it at full speed. I think ehx have something like that. This guitar moment its similar to Whole Lotta Love before Page's solo, you just have to go trippy and crazy. You have the freedom to do whatever you want. I love this kind of moments because of that.

this is not too difficult to achieve, there are already numerous players on youtube whos able to get his tone whether be it using a prs se, les paul or the private stock ones. the amps are not difficult as well, you mostly need a 6L6 tube and boost the mids with a slight overdriven tone.

Cover-band challenge: sound like 10 completely different bands without busting the bank. One guitar, one amp, and, say, no more than three pedals. Possible starting point: Squier HSS Strat, Boss Katana 100. Plenty of cash left over for one or two multi-effects pedals, plus something a little more specialised.
